Income from the Fight Between Usik and Fury Became Known
The fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion between Alexander Usik and Tyson Fury brought the organizers an income of over $90 million. ESPN reports this.
The fight, which took place on May 18 in Saudi Arabia, attracted more than 1.5 million paying spectators. Income from broadcast sales amounted to $50 million. Another $40 million was earned from sponsorship deals, and $3 million was raised directly from ticket sales.
