The reason for the glass to slope away from the roof at the back is just to give it a sloped back appearance without losing any cargo or head room.

Likely when they add AWD - rumored for the '19 model year. To get IRS opt for the Elantra GT Sport. I've had a 2010 and recently bought a 2018 with tech package including the panno roof - if you're looking for a GTI at a discount you'll be disappointed but for what it is and for daily use it works for most people...
@@Scotty_in_Ohio do you still have it. I just got an 18 with tech and moonroof.
Independent rear suspension never happened…as of July 2022
Dude can't tell what the Stereo sounds like with a smartphones.. l like my veloster turbo 2016 better
