The shuttle launch simulator is awesome. I recommend not missing if you visit the space center. I waited in line for about an hour on a Thursday to ride the simulator. I came back the next day on Friday, and the crowds didn't seem as large. There was almost no line to get on the simulator. They actually have 2 different areas of the same simulators, and each one has about 50 seats each. You really do get a sense of what an actual launch is like.
I don’t like roller coasters at all, i mean I completely hate them makes me feel terrible. But I can tolerate there rides at Gateway but I was too scared to try the launch one. Would you compare them to the Gateway rides they have there? I hate that I missed out because I was scared. Lol
I actually will be doing a pov of the gateway simulation ride too. I just hsve to edit that. They are very similar and they have 4 of them. Very similar to shuttle and educational. Don't miss that. 👍👍
The shuttle launch simulator really isn't bad at all. I don't like roller coasters either, but I didn't have a problem on the launch simulator. Mainly just a lot of noise and vibration.
The shuttle simulator is longer than the Gateway rides, and there is more motion. The shaking for the first couple of minutes after liftoff is pretty intense. My mom enjoys the Gateway “trips” but says she won’t be riding the shuttle experience again. 😂
@@AlongForTheJourney so did I! I would have turned around and done it again! Though I really want to see behind the scenes how it creates the different sensations you experience, especially being upside down.

Omg this is awesome! I've been planning to take my son. Thank u! Are kids like 10 years old allowed? I kinda heard a kid in the background saying, "Mommy" lol
