It may sound weird but most of Tame Impala's songs, the first times i listened to them i thought "what is that..." and didn't really like it, but after a few times they just became my absolute favorite songs, and i honestly have a connection with them and never get sick of them, like a lot of other songs. So i kinda think it's cool- a band that if u like their songs it means u LOVE and CONNECT with them, not just a catchy pop song u get sick of after two days. Does that make any sense?
No, I totally get this notion. There are a lot of Kevin's songs that I have connection to with as well, most notably "past life", "Posthumous forgiveness", "Patience", "Borderline", "tomorrows Dust" are all songs I have a personal connection to.
