No, I totally get this notion. There are a lot of Kevin's songs that I have connection to with as well, most notably "past life", "Posthumous forgiveness", "Patience", "Borderline", "tomorrows Dust" are all songs I have a personal connection to. I showed my friends these songs, they didn't really take to them. I never get sick of these songs either!

It’s true that if a person gets high everything sounds better but I feel like you wouldn’t need to get high off of drugs to enjoy Tame Impala, the music itself can get you to that high feeling by itself. That’s why I’d call it Stoner Rock.

Currents! and even the 'b-sides'....timeless audio perfection! tp was already great but they must of got with the right producer at the right time, and i dont know how they can top currents....they shouldnt try. they should just try to recreate these same recipes on their next one!
