What are you talking about? We have excellent historical programming like Monsterquest, Ancient Aliens and Bible Code Decoded! Seriously though, I know what you mean. I watched a British doc on vampires over halloween. They explained the history of vampires in different cultures and their evolution up to todays vampire cults. Then I watched an American doc on Vampires that went over most of the same stuff but concluded that "psychic vampires" actually exist and then provided "evidence" for it.
