Non lock smith here that has watched quite a few Lock Picking Lawyer videos without understanding what he is talking about quite often. This video answered most of my questions in a clear and interesting way. Well done.
The Lock Picking Lawyer is like a magician who does not want to show us his tricks. Shed Pete is a really teacher which is what most people want first.
Pete, these 2 videos you made are truly brilliant idea! It helps out both beginners as well as advance pickers alike! I have never seen a video like this before!!!🔏🔑🔒🗝🔓🔐
Amazing explanation. Now I get some of those false sets I have been getting. Very clear to see with your wood model of the lock. I didn't even know about some of these security pins. I thought, wrongly that you must not lessen the tension when setting pins. Now I see you HAVE TO on some security pins, just very carefully. Thanks so much.Very helpful.
Wow! Awesome old school animation. Good to physically see what different pins do in false sets and core rotation. Great stuff, thanks for sharing Pete ;)
From Part 1 and standard pinning and serrated and spool pins to LockSport Challenge lock pinning with keyway modifications, threading and a variety of exotic pins! This is a great introduction to both! Thanks! DClaus

Pete Restall confirmation for PIP! That's fantastic news. I've definitely had a bit of trouble fully visualizing their action. Also, I wanted to tell you that I've found these videos to be of great help when explaining to friends and clients exactly what's going on when I pick a lock for them. It's difficult to paint a picture with only words if the person listening has no frame of reference in the pick process. Invaluable educational resource. Thx!
