Please read at the back of the bill. They have given the detail of all the headings. Pension charges are absolutely wrong. When they are serving with bses they should pay the pension if they want to. I am working with private company and have retired but I am not getting pension. This is absolutely wrong. Also check the bills of other states also. I have gone thru all these bills and jave spoken wit the customer care, don't have any reply to it. We can question the state govt about this...
The same thing happened to me. My load was increased to 3 kW from 1 kW, and when I contacted customer care, they said it would decrease when my usage reduces. I also have the same question-why was a 7% pension surcharge deducted from us? Today, I received a bill of ₹5100 for consuming 650 units. Will filing an RTI help?
Same issue. [ BSES Delhi ] I got other charges (J) as 1804.92 but i noticed the Sanctioned Load increased from 1 kW last month to 3 kW in July bill . I have no high consumption appliance except a refridgerator and 2 water coolers. For June month's bill the energy consumption was 240 , for July its 238. All the other remaining charges seem to be unchanged but the other charges (J) amount has significantly increased my Net amount payable. How do we claim for this other charges to be exempted?
Thanks for highlighting the issue. Got a good insight on this. In most of the months , i get ₹0 bill as my house's electricity consumption is less than 200 units. Thanks to AAP but it is unexpected to get such an amount in the other charges (J) section for the july month. Is it due to a Sanctioned Load increase from 1kW to 3kW?
Yes, unnecessary load charges applied to our normal consumption and I think this particular amount will not be adjusted to next or upcoming billing cycle
Bhaiya ji madhya pradesh mein bhopal mein 300 unit se jyada aata hai toh humara 10 rs per unit bill aata hai aur Jab mein Ghaziabad mein piwer back up wali society mein tha to avg 14 rs unit bill aata tha jyunki 20 rs unit agar light chali gayi toh diesel generators pe aata hai. Aur hum bina power backup ya unverter ke nahi reh sakte up mein bhopal mein phir bhi light 23 hrs se 24 hrs mist of the days rehti hai light.
300 unit se kum hone par humara 8.5 rs per unit dete hai, aur ha power produce karne ka chote power plant ka kharcha 2 rs per unit aata hai bada unit hoga to thoda kum ho jaata hai kitna hoga ecact oower house wale hi baatyenge.

Go and visit BSES office or call customer care although no one gonna help you, this is why I posted this video to spread some awareness
Just checked again that other charges is the security deposit amount of ₹1800. I Will talk to customer care tmrw on this.
