I think the Chesney situation was so much more than rescuing a dog. Heartfelth thanks to the officer for his compassion, care, and genuine concern. Theres no point in removing a dog, when the owners are clearly in more need of help, and I think this was such a beautiful example of giving them the boost, but firm guidance they needed to help themselves so their dog, who clearly loves them, could come home. Well done ♥
Especially since the doggo looked as he was in a relatively healthy state, probably the most well being in that family. There‘s a lot of love in that household, they just need strength to get their situation sorted out. I am so in awe of the respect the officials are showing them and wish them the absolute best. Such kind people. They deserve health and happiness. ❤️
They need to look out for them again, because it will just get bad again. Hoarders have serious psychological issues. Just cleaning up their house won't help them.
@@sfuterfas they 100% monitored them to make sure the house stayed clean enough for the dog to live in. And if they called the social security like they mentioned, they are definitely getting the help they need for their issues.
The woman giving Ben a forever home to enjoy his last years made me tear up. She has such a big heart, giving all her animals a clean and propper home with lots of love. Chapeau, I love her!
It is the most rewarding and mutually fulfilling, adopting a senior dog who deserves to experience and enjoy all the things in life that they were denied. As cliche as it may sound, my senior's have given me so much more than I could have ever given them. Seeing them come to know what being loved is, an accepted and respected part of a pack, to love back, eat a healthy and regimented meal(s) everyday without fail and know freedom (to name a few important things) is the most wonderful feeling in the world, second only to the unique and inseparable bond we had. When their time comes to leave this life, it's surrounded by their family, both human and canine. I wish so many more people would give senior dogs the chance to live and experience ball these things that they deserve and need. 🙏💫🐾🐾❤️💙💯👈🏻
I rather adopt a older dog they deserve to enjoy the rest of their life happy and spoiled I was given a 14 year old yorkie he was rough when I got him I brought him back to life he had the best last year of his life he was actually healthy had a Lil arthritis in his hips but a golden lab ended his life
How wonderful that Jason, who works for the RSPCA, helped the couple to clean their home in such a supportive and nonjudgmental way. Great for the people and the dogs. Kudos to this organization for all the wonderful work you do. I really appreciate the narration as well. Greetings and warm regards from the US.
I love how that inspector recognized that couple wasn’t being intentionally neglectful & went above & beyond to help them clean up their home to be safer for not only the pets but them as well.❤️He recognized that just removing the animals permanently would be the wrong thing for both pets & humans. I know in many cases in highly populated areas animal welfare officers simply dont have the time or resources to help like that. But that’s how it *should* be done all the time on a case by case basis. Especially here in the US people such as that couple have their pets taken with no effort made by human welfare organizations to help such people in most cases. Particularly in more rural areas. As much as the US loves to claim to care for those in need here…it’s not the truth. We are in a long term mental healthcare crisis which COVID has only greatly intensified. But at least our gov has *finally* begun admitting awareness of the severity of the crisis. So hopefully not only will steps be made to ensure everyone who needs it has access to mental healthcare but that more will be done to help those who need it with many of the problems that accompany & contribute to mental health issues. And *most importantly* hopefully much more will be done towards *prevention* of many of the situations & issues which can often lead to mental health issues. The *massive* benefit animals can have for the majority of mental health issues is already recognized & proven. So my hope is that as part of helping those battling mental health challenges perhaps many rescue animals could be introduced to help(when appropriate) thus helping both the humans & the animals.
The owners of neglected pets are obviously unwell. It’s hard to not get angry though. The flea infestation and teeth/gum destruction were horrible The new owners and fosters of the dogs are incredible 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Sometimes things just get overwhelming for people and their pets. You have to make hard choices. You can buy a few groceries, keep the lights on, or get the dog flea treatment.
Old dogs have the sweetest spirits. Terriers can easily live to their early 20's, so there's no reason why Ben can't have several good years ahead of him.
Molly beautiful Terrier and special people who donated the money for heart surgery and pacemaker. And Vet Chris and everyone taking care of the dogs. Jason another sweetheart. Yeah Ben and Lisa, Anthony and all the RSPCA I truly love The Dog Rescuers from across the pond.❤ I despise abusive so-called owners
I adopted a dog last year. When I brought him to the doctor to be neutered, the doctor also said he had a problem with his heart. The doctor gave him medicines, then 2 weeks later he had the operation. Thankfully, he's doing fine now. I'm doing my best for him to eat healthy and enough exercise. I didn't even know there's a pace maker for dog! 😄 My dog also had other problems like alergies, just like Molly. And he looks exactly like Chesney.
Many of us have felt our tired bodies and spirits suddenly relax when we are with our dogs. In fact, it has been scientifically proven that dogs have a healing effect. The reason why dogs have a healing effect is that they are more loyal than other animals and they trust their owners wholeheartedly. Their eyes and gestures toward their owners express with their whole body that they trust you. When you go to work, they express their loneliness, and when you come home, they jump around and wag their tails to show their happiness. What do you think when you see this? It will make you feel happy to know that you are trusted and loved.🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶
segment about Zeus and voice over was hilarious! "slo-mo it is a bay watch shot..." i spitted my tea when i heard that! lovely episode. And i am sooooooo happy for Ben honestly, he looks so happy now!
This vet and his team are my heros! Also thank you for showing compassion to the couple who really need help as well, you are living proof that angels walk amongst us!
poor lad ben, i keep cringing for him, he must be so uncomfortable, and the owner saying he had been treated a month before no way, just glad he landed on his paws and will spend the rest of his days contended like a good old dog should
Oh boy, that couple with the hoarding problem need some SERIOUS MENTAL HELP! The dog is the least of there problems. I truly hope they get the must needed help.
It’s heartbreaking for Ben is crying for pain.that cruel old lady should give up Ben long time don’t wait worst to come.that not excuse she needs to bath him every week at least n fleas medicine not that expensive.she jst lazy.for Chesney,I wish they keep their house clean, not for themselves but for dog n cat.keep checking up every 3 mon if the house clean.for Zeus thank u for saving him n give him a good life.God will bless u all who rescue all the dogs.give them a second chance.
Poor dog, please help him, his in pain, Give him something for the pain, I feel sorry for him, God bless the poor dog, I love 💕 him, praying 🙏 for him to get better, thank you 🙏 Nice 👍 people And thank you 🙏 beautiful 🤩 Vet, his in pain you can tell, I feel sad 😞 to see this, I send him my hugs 🤗 and kisses 😘 and to all of you Vet and Rescues thank you for all you are doing for the animals, I love 💕 you All, many likes 👍 for you and plenty of love 💕 from Queen 👸
What a great organization. I've seen so many video's of dogs shot and in just the worst condition. It's nice to see people around the world helping these innocent lives. Thank you!
I am so grateful I am in the position to be able you care for my pets. I feel badly for the lady who gave up her dog, I suspect her heart was breaking💔.
Beautiful stories. This shows repeatedly that all dogs life can change. If you find someone that will love them unconditionally. Thank you for sharing this stories. You can change animals live.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I am so grateful that these people take their jobs seriously & are diligent at defending these beautiful defenceless souls. I personally am in awe as to all the beautiful people that put their hearts, bodies on the line for these fur babies daily. I definitely am grateful to you guys & to those recording these video's so that I get the joy of seeing the animals transformations. Thank you all.

How donps the dog in that place 😢evil monster People. Poor dog 😢my heart breaks see the poor dog. Hope he will have a good forever home whit care and love that he deserves so much.
Those fleas were eating that dog alive that's why he was whining and crying. So glad to see the change to a healthy active little dog. What a wonderful change to Zeus!
My elementary school teacher had a yorkie-poodle mix names Buffie. The dog lived 35 YEARS! It just died about 10 years ago. I didn't know dogs could live that long! That dog with the millions of fleas was one of the cruellest things I ever saw. What an unbearable torture that must have been. Even though the owner seemed to be "not quite there", she should be prosecuted for animal cruelty.
People with physical and/or mental illness can find pets to be very therapeutic, but sometimes you get to the point where your own judgement is foggy, and you aren't capable of taking care of yourself, never mind a pet. The problem is, you are often unaware of it until someone else points it out to you. Welfare checks on vulnerable people can also benefit their pets, and make sure that no one degenerates to that level without appropriate care.
Thank you for all you're doing for these animals but I wonder who is helping their owners. Many of them appear to be in terrible shape and unable to keep themselves. I hope some other agency is looking into their situations and helping them.

That’s amazing when they go to extremes to keep these animals alive. I wouldn’t see it happening in other places. The RSPCA in the UK really rocks!

What an adorable lady that took ben. All his suffering is over.
I love that the guy rescued an entire family this episode, cat and dog and 2 humans saved!
All those fleas got me to itching. That poor dog was begging for help.
It wasn't just fleas driving poor Ben mad, imagine how much pain he must have been in from all those rotted teeth and exposed gums!!!
Listening to him cry just broke my heart.
