I used to have a Bounty Hunter, I created signatures for the forums, which players paid me with via online currencies. I even had my own banker (player that collects my payments for me, via force if needed, for a small fee). Can't believe it's still running.. much respect.
Imagine a remaster for freelancer... would love to think it could rival eve online or starcitizen. Guess its time to return to disco for the third time
Hey Spazzy! You are still around then? I still play this regularly, even if it is only to keep the game up dated. Going to have to get on it ASAP. EDIT: There has been a major war, and a lot of damage to many structures has happened among many other updates.
Yeah, the discovery mod forums have a step by step tutorial at the top of the main page on how to gain multiplayer access. It is no different than, say, using a third party program to regain access to Battlefield 2 servers ever since Gamespy went down.
@@AlexanderLaing-rq8ts Nope. Every different mod has its own installation procedure, which can be read in their description or under their section on tutorials. Disco, which currently has the only somewhat active online experience, has its own. Just follow the tutorial and you will be fine.
Don't play this game lol there is a group of toxics players they wait until you have good ships to troll u and fight u with groups, and you probably take actions to fight back and there is always rules so many rules and the server admins will punish you for that. better find something else don't waste your time here, as a player played 2 months i don't recommend.
I used to play in 4.91. I tried ver 5.0. but many has change. Even the map and bases. I usually play as The Order in Omicron. The ships sale location also change.

SC for sure eveonline is a othe beast entirely tho. not realy compareable.
@@Theigzorn Arguable. Discovery has a legit player economy as of this patch.
i was thinking more of the gameplay . eve has more in common with homeworld than lets say wingcommander privater if you catch my drift. @@Jacknic12
Discovery makes me think about Elite Dangerous. Events are also managed a bit like that.
Last weekend there were over 80 people online, and while that doesn't sound much compared to back in the day it's still quite busy at times.

Love you are back spazzy ❤ Your fellow rogue torpedo..
Gentleboys? Are men with firm pectorals and beards allowed to play on this version of the game?
Once they don't feel self aware and insecure of their own masculinity, they just play.
Nope only cringe Discord femboy profile pic havers. I don’t feel like I’m missing out.
Just heard of this, let me try it.

By abandone ware do you mean the game can be completely overhauled and resold?
Interesting, i only play the original and have no clue how to update or even play multiplayer ect. Any heads up or advice?

@@Sindroms23235 So will i need multiplayer services in order to gain access to adding mods?
