This is THE best all-round tutorial on the key elements. I took notes and learned so much more than those other channels that ramble on forever and make jokes and never get to an actual actionable point.
I've watched countless "how to make your gopro footage look cinematic" &/or "get better gopro footage" type videos & THIS ONE was by far the most valuable 🤙🏾🙌🏾! Straight to the point, lots of visual examples + side-by-side comparisons & in-depth [enough] info about when/how to change settings. The mini color grading sesh at the end was also a nice introductory touch. Gained a new sub for this wonderful video!
This TH-cam tutorial was incredibly helpful and informative! The step-by-step instructions and clear explanations made it easy for me to understand and follow along. I will definitely be using this channel for future tutorials. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise!
This is amazing man. You're a really great teacher. Please bring more such videos of breaking down your shots and setting and the tips and techniques. Thank you :)
Thanks for this video! I love the details, settings set up, samples, post processing, and the summary at the end of the video. All i need as a beginner at this point. I hope TH-cam algorithm brings more viewers to your channel. More power dude!
Awesome.... You are simply genius in explaining. I'm new to GoPro and luckily i have purchased GP hero 11 black. This video just came in right time. Perfect👍 thanks tonne mate.. If you could give some more tips on how to shoot driving videos with help go pro that'll be great. All the settings etc of gopro for driving, and capturing beautiful scenery.. Also not to forget pls suggest best mounts to fix on car roof for video recording.
Your video was very informative and helpful. Thank you so much for demonstrating how to actually set up and use the GoPro. I recently purchased it and wanted to see how to get the best possible results. Loved your ninja walk and I watched the Ads without skipping because I appreciate your work 💯
That was one of the best videos for settings/presets I've seen for the GoPro. I recently purchased the Gopro 12 and plan on using it for my trip to Iceland this summer. It will be daylight 24 hours a day but Icelandic weather is tricky. It can go from sunny to cloudy and rainy very fast. I'm going to test your settings in different conditions so I can switch them up if neccesary. Now, @RomaFedorov, May I ask if you have any recommendations about settings for in-car mounted filming? I intend to have separate settings for the car-mounted POV of the road and the scenery and I would like to avoid the fish-eye effect as much as possible, still capturing a wide view (and not my dashboard) 😊. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hi Roman! First of all, thanks a lot for this great video, the info here is very valuable and well structured. If that is not too much work for you, I wanted to ask to provide some sample short straight out of camera clips from your Hero 11 in 5.3k/linear/10 bit/flat to compare to what I am getting from my camera... For some reason even when I limit the ISO to 400, in less than ideal lightning conditions (not even dusk, just a cloudy greyish day in the city) I get enormous amount of noise I've never seen before and don't know how to deal with in post. I am trying to understand if this is just a reality with a GoPro (this is my first one), I am doing something wrong, or maybe I have a problematic copy. Спасибо большое за помощь и успехов в развитии канала!
Hi. Thanks For the awesome video. i really want to purchase a action cam. more specifically DJI OA4 but what I want to know weather go linear mode is more wide or the standard dewarp in DJI has more wide look?
Thanks! With 5.3K you have more resolution to crop your shots without losing quality. In addition, you’re going to get more detail in your shots if you’re going to downscale from 5.3K to 4K rather than from 4K to 4K.
hey bro amazing love it i like people help us like that i have a question do you have LUTS for underwater ? and can you one day make a tutorial how to buy your luts and use it pleas
I don't have LUTS for underwater use. Getting my LUTS is simple. It's pretty much the same as buying anything online, and loading the LUTS is also simple; simply look up how to load LUT's in the editing program you use.
I find for myself the best in gopro lab lock maximum automatic shutter speed to 1/100 (stabilization still working normal) and turn off noice reduce ( for me grain in more pleasing than big blocks and less details)
man, i saw your videos with the action 4 and the camera is very nice, but i think this video of the gopro 11 are better... i bought it last week the Action4 but i prefer the 5.3k of the gopro11 then i sell it ( the action 4 ) and now i stay with the gopro11 and man.. the quality are amazing in 5.3k.. i travel last days for the north of spain and make 2 vlogs of the travel in 5.3k and is amazing.. i like it more than the 4k of the action 4.. but think the action have better mics and front touchscreen is good.. and also the usb c directly without shet' mediamods.. what do you think ? next 2 days i travel another time now to "bilbao" and i will go also to "San Juan de Gaztelugatxe" where game of thrones do a scenes there and i am thinking to buy another time the action 4 and compare them there! what do you think Roma?
The GoPro, for sure, produces a more detailed image when filming in 5.3K. However, because the Action 4 has a lower megapixel count and a larger sensor, it delivers better low-light performance. Additionally, the Action 4 produces slightly more accurate colors straight out of the camera compared to the GoPro, which reduces the need for extensive post-production adjustments. The other advantage of the GoPro is HyperSmooth, which is slightly better than RockSteady, but not by much. So, you have to choose whether you want the most detailed image quality with slightly better stabilization from the GoPro or slightly less sharp image quality with better low-light performance and a much more dependable camera with the Action 4. I prefer the Action 4, mainly because of its colors, low-light performance, and overall ease of using the camera. Cheers,
Alguma ideia do porquê disto suceder? Estou a ficar louco ao tentar descobrir...lol
Can I always use 60fps if I still double the shutter speed? After gaming at 240fps I promised myself I would leave 30fps back in the early 2000's and never touch it again.
You can, but why? It takes up more storage, and everything looks like a football match... I prefer to use standard frame rates, like 24, 25, 30p for normal video, and use 50, 60, 100, 120p for slow motion only.
@@Romafedorov I get motion sick from slow fps is all. I feel the reason we as a society haven't moved up fps is mostly due to costs and established views.
