My bad luck continues with another watch that has broke, not sure how as I was only filming the review. Anyways ordered a replacement movement and hopefully that will fix it.
Finding out that the Miyota movement for this watch only costs 85p really shows what it's really worth. I won't be buying one anyway after seeing the harassing comments on two of your videos from the delusional guy who added his surname to these AliExpress watches and now thinks he has a legitimate copyright claim. The similar Lorus is much better value anyway.
@@WesWatchRoom To be honest, you can't beat the Eaglemoss "1970s United States Army" field watch which came free with the first Military Watches magazine. They are still all over eBay for £5 each and have a Seiko Epson quartz movement in them.
@@WesWatchRoom yeah looks like there’s a problem with the the crown stem. I’m sure if you contacted them they would swap the watch for a working one. 🤞🏻
That’s unfortunate. I think it pretty clear the crown/stem isn’t seating properly. Does look like a stylish and legible piece, I hope this can get sorted out.
It could be that the movement shifted when being delivered or the factory forgot to put a movement holder or something came loose inside and it's stuck until you open it and look inside and see for yourself this sucks this watch looked great
Pull the movement out, see if it ticks, make sure the stem and crown work fine. You'll figure things out from there on. Worst case you buy a new movement, and I reckon that's going to be cheap.
Maybe drop a new movement in? I'm pretty sure they have a miyota 2 or 3 series quartz in them so not expensive plus you would get another video out of it swapping out the hands etc. 😁 seriously though that is a shame Hope you can resolve it.👍

There's just a small chance that if you remove the crown & then re seat it it may work, this isn't that difficult. If it worked before the movement may have shifted slightly so you can't re engage the movement by pushing the crown back in, you don't have to take the movement out just the crown. there will be a tiny button or lever on the movement that you depress to remove the crown ( many guides on YT) check the movement holder for any wiggle then gently re seat the crown, I think it could be that simple. Great looking watch, if I didn't already have too many field watches I would definitely get one.

Can you please explain how an AliExpress link infringes your trademark rights? I really don't understand how that works. And also are you referring to all my videos or just the ones with your watches.
Alex, could you also explain why is it that when I ordered this watch from your official website, the package I obtained was wrapped in standard yellow aliexpress-like free shipping yellow wrapping, with the origin stating a warehouse in mainland china? Since the people running the aliexpress listing are the same people responsible for holding your inventory and shipping, why are you unable to sort your trademark issues with them?
