I wish Bakugan was just more intuitive to play. I think they would have gotten away with just a bowl shaped stadium like beyblade and play Bakugan inside of them. The cards make the game too clunky. And it's not even like you can buy cards separately. If you want to buy cards, you have to buy the whole set that comes with a Bakugan. Bakugan is basically just marbles, but again like I said it's too clunky. Id be lying if I said I didn't want to collect them tho. I don't even watch the show. My brother used to watch the show so it's just nostalgic to me.
I'm just not sure if the mechanics really work that way. Thought the abilities only activate if you pick up the core with the Bakugan. So e.g. Ventus Nova Pegatrix, Platinum Griswing (LE) and Platinum Sectanoid would only get one ability each. Do you happen to know where the rules for this are? I'm not sure myself and would like to know for sure
with platinum greswing, i think you can go green fist to opponent blue shield and then play for highest dmg with might of cyndeous. You will be at 9 vs your opp might be lower than that. So you can control his blue shield core

Really is a bit lame that they have the same chase Bakugan but it is nice they aren't completely dog shit. That griswing looks real nice. I seem to recall the legends platinum griswing wasn't very good at all. The Colossus isn't as impressive, looks like you could get some easier B wins with it but that low damage almost doesn't make it worth it.

Best bet for cards is eBay and Amazon. TCG Player still probably has some singles from early card sets. I got all mine from those places.
