The reason the lower-income people live on the hills in Afghanistan is because the access to water, plumbing and sanitation is too expensive up there. So the land is much cheaper there. On the flip side in the western counties, hills are the most expensive pieces of properties. You are right this is not where the dangerous & criminals live they are much richer 😁
I'm glad you felt welcomed and those puppies and kids are absolutely adorable 💕 ❤️ 💖

Afghans are literally the most hospitable people on the planet and welcome all guests. When he was talking to the kids with the puppies a some women of the house even came to the door outside to greet and talk to him at 7:50. The translator tells them " don't worry he's filming the kids not you guys" and the say that's its okay to film them and that they want to be filmed too. Also he's not inside anyone's house he's literally outside do you not see the walls and doors? Notice how all the women came outside to greet and talk to him that is a sign of respect and hospitality.

At 15:00 the young kid is airing a grievance about how the Taliban prevent them from playing football on that ground by firing bullets at them whilst they are playing a game. The translator though hides the reality and simply said that the Taliban use that as a military area. The kid said that the Taliban says go home and play at home as opposed to on the open ground, and the Taliban says to the kids that you will steal our things.
The translator embellished many other translations to reflect his own personal Pashtun pro Taliban biases.

@@Justaninterim No he says that the Taliban say to the kids that ,"you kids will steal our stuff".
The point is that the Taliban behave in hateful and disrespectful ways towards the people and fire their guns at kids playing football. They are scared of everything since they are foreigners to that city and that country as a whole. But the Pashtun lowlife translator deliberately hides the point of the message of the kid, by claiming that the area is a 'military area'.
