This update is a lot of fun and brings the game to an even higher level than I thought would be possible in a Roblox game!

Update #34 - Horse Personalities
Horse Personalities
- Horses now have personalities!
- Horses obtained before this update have been given a personality, taking their friendliness stat into consideration
- The available personalities & their respective features are:
- Lazy
-- Will randomly change to a slower gait when you're riding them - just change them back to the higher gait
-- Lays down in the wild, shops, pasture, & barn
-- Follows you and wanders around slowly
-- Begins following you at a much further distance
-- Wanders much less frequently
-- unique idle animation: Cat Stretch
- Spooky
-- While riding these horses, pay attention to their Spook Meter next to their image at the top right of the screen. If it gets to the top, the horse will spook for 15 seconds and buck you off (They will not buck you off if you have the Fall Off Animation setting toggled off). You can see what is scaring the horse when you get close to it, it will outline in red.
-- If the horse is scared, a heart button will pop up on your screen, click it to soothe the horse and reduce their spook meter. If you soothe them while they are spooking, the horse will not buck you off when they calm down.
-- Unique idle animations: Nervous Look Around (left) + Nervous Look Around (right)
- Sassy
-- Will frequently shake their head and buck when being ridden or running in the pasture/wild.
-- unique idle animation: Sassy Prance
- Independent
-- Will not follow you unless you are leading them.
-- Will not let you pet them, sometimes.
-- Needs attention less frequently, and does not request the Pet or Food tasks.
-- Does not herd with other horses
- Clingy
-- Follows you very closey and quickly
-- Will approach you and nicker if you enter their pasture or wild area
-- Needs attention more frequently and requests the Pet task a lot.
- Grumpy
-- Will not let you pet them, sometimes.
-- Will threaten to, or actually kick players if they stand closely behind them for too long.
-- Will bite players if they stand closely in front of them for too long
-- Unique idle animation: Stomp
- Energetic
-- Will randomly change to a faster gait when you're riding them - just change them back to the lower gait.
-- Moves around a lot (frequent idle actions)
-- Follows you very quickly
-- Wanders around at a much higher speed
-- Wanders around frequently
-- Unique idle animation: Prance
- Easy Going
-- No special features; they act exactly how horses acted before this update.
- Personality Swap Potions
-- Feed to your horse to change to any personality that you'd like.
-- You can obtain the in Treasure Chests or buy purchasing them for Robux from Larry on Mainland
-- If you played before the update and meet certain criteria (which is almost all of you), you will also be given three of them for free, to use on your main 3 horses.
- New Follower HUD Display
-- Shows an image of your follower's head, gender, personality, and current task
-- The outline colour is determined by their personality
-- Click their image to open their stats
-- You can quickly access the tack, emotes, or pick them up with the buttons below it
Leading
- With a halter or bridle equipped to your horse, interact with them and select "Lead" to lead them around, they will follow you very closely when being led.
- Independent horses will not follow you unless you are leading them.
Autosteering
- When enabled, your horse will automatically steer to avoid obstacles.
- Your steering input will override automatic steering
- This is disabled by default and can be enabled in Settings
Other
- The horse shop stall lights are always on now, so it doesn't get too dark during cloudy days.
- Optimized animals to reduce server lag
- Reduced fog density when Snowing
- Inventory sorting now uses a dropdown for easier selection
- Increased max items per trade from 8 to 12
- When your horse asks for attention, you can now also interact with them and click "Task" for a detailed explanation of how to take care of them
- New "Shadow Softness" setting which adjusts how smooth shadows appear.
- New "Minimap" setting which shows/hides the minimap. If you experience a lot of lag and don't require the minimap, try disabling the minimap! You can still access the large map with the Map button up top.
- Horses will herd with other horses when in the pasture. Independent horses do not herd.
New horse animation master list
- Spooked (Spooky horses only upon being spooked)
- Bite (Grumpy horses only when players are standing in front)
- Angry Stomp (Grumpy horses only)
- Kick Rear Left Leg (Grumpy horses only)
- Threaten Kick Rear Left Leg (Grumpy horses only)
- Cat Stretch (Lazy horses only)
- Shake Head (Sassy & Grumpy horses only)
- Forward/Back Adjust Idle (all horses)
- Prance Idle (Energetic horses only)
- Sassy Prance Idle (Sassy horses only)
- Nervous Look Around (Left) + Nervous Look Around (Right) (Spooky horses only)
Personalities have no effect on your horse's speed when riding. They are only faster/slower when following or in the pasture!
Their stats and tack are the only thing that change their riding speed and stamina.

Hi koolie! I need a bit of help from the update. I joined after trick said on discord that if you re-join i’ll receive the personality swap potions but i still haven’t received them i re-started my Roblox , logged in & out , re-joined a bunch but it looks like it doesn’t work…im not sure what should i do should i try to contact trick on discord? It would be great if you could help me!
Hey! You will need to contact a moderator on discord, not Trick directly. Use the mod support channel and they will help you out

It’s good because it will teach kids how some horses will be kind and clingy, and some aggressive and how they will be bitten or kicked. As someone who rides all day everyday living with them breathing them everything horses.. this is great for kids to be experiencing!

yea, im a middle aged kid (middle aged kids are 6 - 12 years old) and Ive learned a lot from this game! Ive learned a lot of horse species and what horses do/want/need :D

I put all my clingy horses in the pasture so now I get surrounded by clingy horses whenever I go into my pasture! It’s so hilarious and fun! This is like the best update ever. 😂🥰

I’m so in love with the idle animation personality’s 😂😂❤ sassy is just like me, spooky is realistic, independent is just independent 😂 lazy is just me in the morning going to school 😭easy going is normal! Energetic is adorable!! Clingy is a bit stressful they have needs almost every min😅 and grumpy is just stubborn and also realistic! But keep up ur hard work ignore haters love ya❤❤❤❤❤

I really really like this new update! I'm actually not that mad about the personality's for my top main horses tbh! I'm also very glad that many other that aren't that experienced in horse back riding and horses in generall get's to see how different horses acts! This may be one of my favorite updates so far in the game!^^
Edit: Also, just a tip koolie, if you want your horse to get spooked/scared, you need to run towards it, just riding around it wont work (that's what I think at least).
The lead is not always red, it will change depending on what halter you have on your horse. All halters have diffrent color lead ropes depending on the color of the halter itself.

We really need the pasture to be bigger or have them add more pastures because I want to see more of my horses roaming free as horses should 🥰 I ended up getting an all white sassy fri and I named her Diva. But her father none stop bucks 👀😳😂 not gonna lie I love the sassy personality. I hope they add more personalities because almost all of mine are spooky energetic or sleepy 😂😭 I got 2 grumpy!! Only 2! I hope to get more because I like the little nibbles and kicks they do 😂
Yess! I have a reverse dapple friesian named Quetza and she is sassy, its funny how they buck and shake their head all the time, I think the sassy personality is the most unique one

The personalities are so much fun! I have a horse with lots of energy and he's always dancing around! It's also very realistic because all horses are different, I've ridden lots of horses and no two were the same!

This update is so cool! I made one of my main horses spooky and when he bucked me off he did the nervous look animation which was in my direction like, "are you okay?" It was the perfect timing and so funny xd

Idk about you but I feel like independent horses are annoying, I think lazy ones are cute, like their idle animation, energetic’s dance is adorable and then sassy I feel just match my personality 😂

Energetic is prob gonna be my main but for rps it's interpret so I don't have to tie em up when there in pen
And also you got some potions that allows you to change tiger personality
By the way, if theres a red outline but the whole color is red and theres a black outline, that means the horse will immediately get spooked when you get near it.

Atlas, aka my dapple grey thoroughbred. she’s very sassy, or so i say in roleplays! She surprisingly got sassy! my v1 sooty fri got grumpy, and she can bite whenever you pet her, its like a 50% chance or 40% chance

Something funny about this update, ( Completely random) I made a horse in game based off my irl horse. His personality off of what the trainers said, was sassy, he got sassy in game XD

I have a question, does it only give players who play by laptop/computer? Because I personally play mobile and all my other friends that play mobile didn’t receive free potions. :(
I have a feeling that the players who got it were active players or something like that, I don't know the full details. But like I got them but my alt accounts didn't so I'm guessing it's something to do with how often you play or something
silly the halter is not red it is the color of the halter but event halter have a diffrent color but not sessonal halter have a diffrent color
how do u get ur horses in the stalls and in the arena
Walk or ride your horse into where you'd like it to go and a button will appear at bottom left of screen to put horse in stall/yard

Thank you! My #1 advice is to keep at it for as long as you're enjoying it. Create content you genuinely enjoy making and ignore numbers. The more you create the more you learn about what kinda channel you want to be, editing, etc. It's a growing process.
When I'm lost on what to do I sit down with pen and paper and brainstorm vid ideas or ask my audience what they'd like to see and go from there

So i join the game and i go to the lunar island because there is a rare horse now i found a white thoughbread (i think is wrong spelling) now is so expensive i didn't care now the horse spawn near the shop i found another thoughbread and i catch it and i got a personality aroa i was shock and funny at the same time because i got spooky is a secret item btw

You get it by catching horses with personalities I think.

I've always felt that the horses have been emotionless and boring. Now that they have some personality, the game is so much better! 💗

Not every account did. I don't know the full details but to get them you had to be a regular player or something similar to that. For an example, I got them but none of my alt accounts did
