3:29 again it boils down to being able to financially support yourself as a student by NOT depending on working since one is a STUDENT and school comes first before work in theory and must be done in practice. Anyone who comes to Canada to “study” must GENUINELY have enough money to self sustain and working 20 hours a week should be just an accessory bonus, not to live on while going to school. This is a problem when you use one method of coming to Canada (student) but intending to be another (immigrant). While it’s allowed and legal, one has to accept the consequence of financial limitations. With the resiliency of Filipinos, you can directly tell anyone not to come, but they’ll find a way to come anyway.
