Hot chocolate with 50/50 milk and water. I have a keurig, so for the grandkids, I foam some coffee creamer to top it off. "Nana makes the best hot chocolate!" Lol Even mommy makes it the same way, Nana's is the best! Gotta love the grandkids!😅😊😂
Kelly, everyday you make more amazing cards, but you had me at SNOW!! I admire people that live in the North. I live in central Alabama and we had rare snow last week, and of course the first time the S word was mentioned, the stores cleared out of milk , bread and eggs. It’s funny that people who don’t even eat those foods feel prepared if they have those things!!! At my house we had 3” and it was beautiful, but after 24 hours it’s time for it to melt. 😊😊. Stay warm and well. Love this card.
Beautiful card! My parents went sledding with us and I went sledding with my kids. Also, we used to live in north east Ohio. Early one November we had over 4' of lake effect snow! My husband, of course, was on a business trip to S. CA. Thank goodness the snow blower started each day!
Just have to tell you my kids remember all four of us playing together in the snow! We tell stories of when my youngest fell and laughed so hard she couldn’t get up. It’s great you go out and play with her! My kids are your age. You and my oldest are the same I think. Thanks for sharing and teaching!
Kelly, I promise they will remember you playing in the snow. My Dad, I remember. I think of it often. My Dad was so fun. Ok, now let's cry. I also remember him getting us all ready. There were 6 of us! ❤❤❤
Amen to the glue clogging...I have had to buy several tips so far and hopefully have learned my lesson on how to set the glue into the holder the right way...I am glad you said something since I was thinking it was only me that had that issue....I love mine but you are right...there is a learning curve for sure!
Peppermint hot chocolate with milk and peppermint whipped cream. I put an Andes mint in the bottom of the mug with the milk. I just love the scene. It’s perfect as a shaker.
Such a fun card! I always appreciate that you show your oopsies. That helps me know that everything is fixable in some way! I cannot believe that your Jelly Bean is three and your Peanut is approaching teens!! I call our last grandchild our caboose and she will be three in May. The oldest just turned 11 on the 26th of Dec. I'm still struggling with her being that old! Thanks for sharing your "stories" with us and making your card making so much more personal! May 2025 bring you and your family a multitude of blessings!❤
Lovely snowy scene Kelly! You have such a talent for coloring and creating beautiful scenes. Milk for me and hold the mini marshmallows and pass them to Jelly Bean for me ❤
My Mom used to get four kids ready and we all had snow pants. We loved playing outside bwith my Dad and then coming in all wet and having to jave everything dried. My mMom would make snow ice cream for us, I have som many good memories.
Oh Kelly! So funny! Sorting those "sparklies" (I made that word up!!!) is something I would do! And who would have thought foam tape on the bottom front piece of the snow globe would change the look so dramatically? So strange. I LOVE the end result. Your Copic marker talents make the scene come to life! By the way, I can relate to the prep time when going outside to play in the snow with kids. Layers, boots, hats, gloves.......! Ugh!!! I'm sweating before we get outside!
I grew up in Rochester, NY and my dad would shovel a path around the backyard so our beagle mix could do his daily patrol :) I love watching your scene cards come together.
I watch your videos all the time but never leave comments or thumbs up!! How are you doing with your thyroid? I was diagnosed this summer with Hashimoto so I totally relate. Hope all is well. I love story time!
Beautiful scene card !!!!!
Oh milk for sure

Peanut is a loving, thoughtful young man. Can’t believe he is almost a teenager! Blink! They aren’t grown up!
What a pretty scene &. I love seeing how you "fix' what you don't care for!

What a pretty card! The timing is perfect, a snow storm is predicted to hit Maryland Monday! I hope our snow is this pretty!!

Lovely card and do love it as a shaker. I really have to make a shaker card. Thanks so much for all the great tips.

Darling card! Snow is pretty but being raised in northern Illinois, I am over that. 😂 Not too much snow in Tennessee. ❤
Love this and love story time!
