- It is often challenging to scoop out early-stage embryos directly with a spoon, as their body shape tends to deform or bend. To prevent this, a piece of blotting paper with a hole is attached to the embryo. This allows the embryo to be extracted while maintaining its straight shape. Such methods are likely handed down as traditional techniques in laboratories that use chicken embryos as experimental materials. It will take some time to create a detailed explanatory video, so for now, we are presenting it as raw footage.
