I tried to access this area last week but there is now a restriction on driving vehicles posted - no cross country driving to the site. One has to walk about a mile from the designated parking area. I was talking with a guy from NM and suggested I take the walk. My legs were sore that day from walking to see The Citadel and the day before, the East Mesa Trail so there was no way I was going to hike out to the site at 4PM and it was 90 + degrees.
No hard at all, very slight incline and took about 30 minutes from the parking area. Not sure how a heavier RV would do in the dirt to get to the parking area as there isn't a designated road. You can always park on the main road and hike in, that could be 1-1.5 hour because of the added distance.
Hanksville is such an amazing area .
💯💯💯💯💯

our Rv is the adventure class C 20 feet long so it's not the longest
Test it out for a couple minutes on dirt, if you’re sinking because of weight then park at the road and hike in.
To think every location you visited harbored water at one point or another
Absolutely, water is powerful!!
