I agree. Such a talent. A jack of all trades. If he wasn't an actor, he could be a comedian, and he's a great singer and I also think he plays guitar too.
***** Yeah! I want to see him in something live action, he's SO good... A movie or a play. The One Night Live thing was so crazy good! Or in a musical LOL!
I remember hearing Troy Bakers work when he wasn't "famous", and thought he was amazing and I hoped he would be in more games... Few years later, he's everywhere and he deserves it.
I recently watched the panel with Troy Baker and Nolan North. And I love how that airplane event is referenced here too xD It's like a continuation! But yeah, Troy Baker is just awesome :)
One of the best and my favourite voice actors. Troy Baker, Laura Bailey, Todd Haberkorn and Johnny Yong Bosch. Such a talent and brilliant group of people, they deserve all the things they are cast into.
***** Yea, I also really like Brina Palencia, Trina Nishimura, J. Michael Tatum and Ian Sinclair. I mean, America is getting a lot of good voice actors/actresses, but you know how weaboo's can be...
jr4chargers yep, I enjoy all those others as well. Funimation is great for these voice actors. I watched so much anime and I only ever recognize or bother remember American voice actors and not so much the Japanese ones, since I speak English and that's easier for me to stay familiar with.
+Chris Ponsen Japanese companies rarely grant the localization/licensing companies money to get proper actors (64.25 an hour for a union-standard dub, something like 30-50/hour for a non-union dub in Texas, at FUNimation or ADV), unlike with their native-language versions. There's a very large actor hierarchy in voice-over, & it's got a lot to do do with the union bureaucracy. Screen Actors' Guild promotes the best actors in their club; it's like a monopoly (they lobby the government, & eat out of your taxes)Most anime VO folks aren't the greatest or well-known at major studios. Few big guys who started in anime, cotninue to do it, but not worth it for someone like Peter Cullen or Tara Strong, rich SAG folks who easily make 500+/hour on Fairly OddParents or Transformers (non-JPN versions, of course), plus *residuals* from sales. In past, new VO actors would build up resume & rapport with studios through bad non-union dubbing, with the hope of referral to bigger studios, eventually getting US shows. Ex: Tony Oliver at Bang!Zoom! likes your Fate audition, calls you to Bleach at Studiopolis, word spreads round the studio till you get called for their Marvel shows. Now, bad actors can now voice extras in a niche, even Japanese game, like Yggdra or Mana Khemia, & make $200/hour, while the big dogs fuck the hoes at SAG to get in shit like Uncharted, at 5-600/hour.Exception: MGS & many of Capcom and SquEnix's games are high-budgeted dubs. Which is why Baker and Bailey are in many of them, *even though they QUIT Naruto* "
Did anyone notice that when Troy mentioned watching the vine for 30 minutes and how that's about 500 times? Yeah he nailed it. 30 minutes divided by 6 seconds is exactly 500 times. Not too important but I just thought it was kinda interesting...
If he reads the dictionary I will silently listen to him even if he reads twilight I'd listen to him XD I love his voice and the awesome thing is his real voice is also Bookers voice XD
The only answer I have is that voice acting is still a relatively "young" medium to its big brother live action acting and is really just now catching a stride. I also think that the majority of people who watch stuff are our older citizens who view anything animated as either complete crap, childish, or just not worth watching and does not have the ability to have good acting like live action acting does. So really I don't think it is troy's talents that are the issue, it is just society's views on this subject
oh. So this is that voice actor that has the "awkward redeeming father/daughter relationships with the female support character. then something happens to fuck that up?" Neato!
Just pointing out he plays kinda that same role. My feels are badly crushed. You play the game fifty different times hoping for a different ending, and fifty times you don't learn your lesson
Yeah, I see what you mean now. I'm not sure why it's doing that -- the lag gets worse the farther into the video you get. It's definitely something with TH-cam, though, the original video on my laptop has fine audio.
It is TH-cam's fault as this wasn't the case like 2 years ago :D And it is only with this part and makes it really unenjoyable :( Is there any chance that you would upload this part again? :)
Troy Bakers as the voice of Robert E. O. Speedwagon from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure the Animation that will be great role, I hope Funimation pick JoJo's Bizarre Adventure the Animation very soon.
Troy has great comedic timing.
I agree. Such a talent. A jack of all trades. If he wasn't an actor, he could be a comedian, and he's a great singer and I also think he plays guitar too.

Yeah! I want to see him in something live action, he's SO good... A movie or a play. The One Night Live thing was so crazy good! Or in a musical LOL!
In context, he's funnier than most comedians.
he's just an adorable human being really isn't he.
He's daddy 😩👅💦🍆✊
Hes nagato from naruto
"Screw his innocence ! He needs to learn !"
This is my favourite Troy Baker panel. I love it so much.
I remember hearing Troy Bakers work when he wasn't "famous", and thought he was amazing and I hoped he would be in more games... Few years later, he's everywhere and he deserves it.
Man this guy is alpha.
I recently watched the panel with Troy Baker and Nolan North. And I love how that airplane event is referenced here too xD It's like a continuation! But yeah, Troy Baker is just awesome :)
Emile Vinesh which panel is it? Can you give link? Really want to see that :D

He's so perfect, I can't handle it
He's such a precious cinnamon roll
I was that guy at the end that said "I forgot I had them on".
Loved this panel
HAHA! :D Oh man he´s friggin hilarious. Hard to imagine he did Joel´s role in Last of Us. Joel´s so surly.
God love this man really interacts with his audience
Why is no one on this comment section talking about Pain I’m pissed 😤
Troy Baker is so charming and hilaaaaaarious! I'm in stitches! Haha so handsome too. ;O
Troy is so funny and cute. He should be a comedian.
Literally my new favorite
Did anyone notice that when Troy mentioned watching the vine for 30 minutes and how that's about 500 times? Yeah he nailed it. 30 minutes divided by 6 seconds is exactly 500 times. Not too important but I just thought it was kinda interesting...
Griffyn HD i know i‘m like half a decade late, but it would actually be 300 times😅
30*60=1800
1800:6=300
Not that it would be in any way important...😅
its nice that he takes these questions seriously instead of a lot of others who would make a joke out of some of them
I knew he was perfect....I didnt know he was THIS perfect!
The man has style
If you wanna see the paper airplane part. Look up the Troy Baker and Nolan North panel and skip to the 40 minute mark
There are like 15 Troy Baker and Nolan North panels, which one is the right one? I wanna seeeeee. ^^
If he reads the dictionary I will silently listen to him even if he reads twilight I'd listen to him XD I love his voice and the awesome thing is his real voice is also Bookers voice XD
His voice is amazing. Seriously.
HE IS SO F****** FUNNY, AND LOVELY.
I can't see this guy ever retiring keep it up troy I wanna see you voice acting till 100
My Pain is far greater then yours.
The world shall know pain

Troy you're so cool

Someone should make his conventions into podcasts

help
I love this guy XD he's such a funny funny man who has a voice of melted gold and is also good looking XD
most of those kids already played Call of duty or similar, so they are pretty much mentally scarred already.
The fact that he sings in a band now is beyond me
My friend Stephen acts the same way as him omgosh xD
It's Kanji!
Troy Baker is fucking adorable.
Troy baker is like the Ryan Reynolds of video game and anime voice acting.
oh. So this is that voice actor that has the "awkward redeeming father/daughter relationships with the female support character. then something happens to fuck that up?" Neato!
Would that be you dissing those games or just pointing out that he's played that same type of role around three times?
Just pointing out he plays kinda that same role. My feels are badly crushed. You play the game fifty different times hoping for a different ending, and fifty times you don't learn your lesson
I agree with his language barrier. Most English actors don't speak Japanese.
Bree is literally my favourite person on this Earth.
This dude is amazing
Ok so how are we supposed to reply to people now on youtube with the stupid google+?
Me and my sister pop up at 17:43 in the bottom corner!
Nice
I wish this guy would get into live action TV or Movies

TH-cam does have a slight lag sometimes, but I'm not sure if that's what you're experiencing.
no it´s like serious lag....
Yeah, I see what you mean now. I'm not sure why it's doing that -- the lag gets worse the farther into the video you get. It's definitely something with TH-cam, though, the original video on my laptop has fine audio.

+HetfieldAuditore we get it you vape
Yeah, you'd think there'd at least be a bunch of videos with his Excalibur part. XD But no problem.
All I see is Rhys RIP
Anyone else think he looks like Antony Starr from The Boys?
This guy should play the joker the hair, the eyes, the smile, and the voice but rest in peace to joker from the shows and previous batman games
SO funny
omg my friend is in this video too that is so creepy she was in that panel she was next to the girl who made him sing the excalibur song!
Love that guy 💓
He's like Tim Hawkins a great comedian too XD
This man has just replaced Quinton Flynn as my favorite voice actor.
1.David Hayter
2.Troy Baker
3.Quinton Flynn
Mark hamill has to be on your list
drago2021 How dare you.
Only joking, but Quinton Flynn will never be replaced for me.
am I the only one who taught of greed at the start
I can hear him sound like Joel lol
troy has the best panels
Troy Bakers as the voice of Robert E. O. Speedwagon from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure the Animation that will be great role, I hope Funimation pick JoJo's Bizarre Adventure the Animation very soon.
