He's absolutely stunning. A lot of martial arts scenes look totally fake and are badly done because the actors don't actually know martial arts but because of his dancing and his father's occupation, he is an absolute boss at the martial arts scenes and I've never found fighting scenes as elegant as they are when he does them, absolutely flawless and it really is like he's just dancing with ease.

Explained why he isnt awkward performing the action scenes of Zhang Qilin... He really deserved this role.... How i wish he could continue playing Xiao Ge's role for the next season... Out of 5 actors who act as xiao ge he is my favorite next to yangyang

I think the main reason they used the changing cast formula was bc Zhang Qiling isn't supposed to be aged, rather than keep only changing him they might have thought better to renew cast for every season
