  • After watching this video you will understand 3 DIFFERENT WAYS to Analyse FIXED BEAMS. (1) By considering FIXED END MOMENTS as redundant reactions. (2) By considering VERTICAL REACTION and SUPPORT MOMENT at any of the fixed support as redundant. (3) Using STANDARD FORMULAE.
CONSISTENT DEFORMATION METHOD is used to analyze fixed beam which is the first method developed for Analysis of Indeterminate Structures.
This video also explains the Step by step procedure to analyze Fixed Beam using 3 DIFFERENT WAYS.

I was searching for consistent deformation method examples and randomly got this video, to my surprise it was from you ma'am! Felt proud and happy to see you teach after 3-4 years of passing out from Government Engineering College Amravati.

@@DrSuchitaHirde_CivilEnggVideos Ma'am Actually I am a Teaching Assistant for Structural analysis 2 right now in IIT Guwahati. I have a few doubts in the tutorial solutions that I need to prepare before checking them. Can I have your WhatsApp no or any medium where I could ask you doubt...if you don't mind!

Mam ur explanation was really osm...but in first method you add all the areas A1 to A6 I think we have to substract A5 and A6 in slope...plzz note my doubt .... At 13.00 min...
