    Wow, these steps are how i've learned language, intuitively. I got hearing aids because i couldn't hear faint distinctions in words, audiologist said i didn't really need hearing aids, tho i qualified for them. I can now hear the little things & have started French😊!

    Hi, are you planning to release Hindi and MSA arabic courses?

    • @FluentForeverApp
      @FluentForeverApp  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Luca! Arabic is in our plans to be added to the app. We don't have a definite date for when it will be ready, but you can check for updates on our progress here: view.monday.com/266759143-a2a191bc5a8f59fd491fcc27fbca9513.
      While Hindi is not in our plans at the moment, we will be working on the Learn Any Language feature that will allow our users to learn any language they want.

    I also have the same question for the number of words in each study section.
    Both "Words" and "Grammar" sections each have 89 sets, so how many words are in those two sections? (648?, 625?).
    I don't know the total number of words in the app that I need to learn (625?), and also the total number of words I have added myself.
    Can you consider updating the card synchronization feature between different languages?
    For example, I want to learn the word "intuition" in Mandarin, Korean and Japanese. With this feature, I just need to create a card in Mandarin and then sync or choose whether to add that new word to Korean and Japanese instead of creating a card 3 times manually (synchronizing new words with the pics that i chose not their learning history)

      There are 625 words in the sets in Words. However, the app has an integrated dictionary, so users can add any existing word in the language. You can also add words that might not be in the dictionary (slang, for example) with the Add Your Content tool. For Grammar, there are 89 sets with 625 words. Each word is part of a sentence, where learners can add every word in the sentence. There are multiple sentences offered for each word, all of varying difficulties/levels.
      We would not advise "syncing" the adding of words in the way you described. With our method, choosing specific images for the word and customizing the card is an integral part of the learning process. Doing it for one language is very effective, but just copying the card images and customization to each language you're learning skips the process of "thinking" and associating the word (meaning and pronunciation) with the images you're choosing for the card. We hope that makes sense.

    Can you tell me how many words(from which we select sentences, apart from the basic 625 words) are there in the grammar section for Korean?

    • @FluentForeverApp
      @FluentForeverApp  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We couldn't give a number because there are thousands of pre-made sentences! The app is also linked to a dictionary, and users can generate or add their own sentences too, so the number is effectively infinite. :)

    There should atleast be something that tells us how much progress we've made in the app and mainly how much we've got left, like for the grammar section, the sentence sets keeps on showing up and we don't know how much we've got left to complete the apps content. Can you please make some kind of a clue in the app that tells us how much we've got left in the grammar section too(just like it is in the basic words section), because we've to plan our study schedule according to how much there's left to learn and so that we know that we're getting closer to learning the language, that's one of a huge motivation factor. Please get this feature quick in the app, because I'm learning multiple languages and at least should know how much I've got left before finishing a language so that i can plan my study according to that.

      Thank you for your feedback! Both word and sentence sets are 89 each. We are actively working to improve the study metrics and learner progress in the app to make it easier to track progress. Keep the app updated to its latest version at all times to get the most up-to-date features :)

      @@FluentForeverApp 89 are in basic words section, what about grammar section that starts after we've completed learning the basic words... How many words are in there in total in the grammar section (i mean just the words through which we select sentences)?

    • @FluentForeverApp
      @FluentForeverApp  หลายเดือนก่อน

      For Grammar, again, there are 89 sets with 625 words. Each word is part of a sentence, where learners can add every word in the sentence. There are multiple sentences offered for each word, all of varying difficulties/levels.

      Hello there! It is completely achievable to learn grammar based on our app's method. You can learn more about how our founder, Gabe Wyner, learned languages with this method here: th-cam.com/video/bPVeIHcgfTs/w-d-xo.html

    I have the app but the Words and Grammar sections confuse me. It seems their sets are shared, so that several of my Grammar sets are missing because I completed the same sets in Words. Are we supposed to complete all of the Words sets before moving on to Grammar?

    • @FluentForeverApp
      @FluentForeverApp  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thanks for your question. Currently, in the beginner and intermediate difficulty levels, you will see the same sets in both the Words and Grammar sections.
      You can learn the words available either as basic vocabulary only (Words tile) or in the context of sentences (Grammar tile).
      If you choose to learn a certain word in the Grammar section, it will be automatically taken off your list in Words, and vice versa.
      When you complete all sets in Words or if you are at the advanced difficulty level, you will see a list of frequently used words in the language that you can learn through sentences.
      If you choose to learn a certain word as a simple vocabulary card in Words but later want to focus on it by adding it to a card in Grammar, you can search for the word later in the Search Sentences section in the app, and you will be able to create sentence (grammar) cards for it.
      Usually, learners ask us if they should finish the sets in Words first or move to Grammar directly.
      We recommend sticking to the Words section for as long as learning via sentences seems too difficult.
      When you get to a point where learning via sentences is not too challenging, we recommend moving to Grammar sooner rather than later, as with the sentences, you will learn additional words, word order, and dictionary forms, which speeds up the learning process.
      We hope this helps :)
