- I bought my land in May 2022 because buying an actual house felt impossible. I was inspired by my old boss and now friend, Doug. I documented his day-to-day life as he built this amazing house in Sunrise Beach Village, TX. Like every decision I've ever made in my unstable life, I put an offer on a piece of land. I literally did zero research.
I'm passionate about cleaning up the environment and doing my part to respect nature. I thought building. A house made from recyclables and garbage would be a fun experience. And just like that, I bought a hammer and one of those saw thing-a-ma-jiggers. The trickiest part was finding the materials I needed at that particular time. My land isn't that big, so storage is an issue. I use what I find immediately, or at least I try. I don't want my land to look like Sanford and Son.
My experience is limited to building basic sets for Actors in Los Angeles. This is my first time building anything that needs to survive an alien invasion.

Very cool! Love to watch the process.
Thank you!
I'm curious where you're going with this. It seems like you keep making the interior walls thicker and thicker. It seems like there are physical limitations against continuing that forever. :-)
It’s definitely taking forever.
And on trenchal rains?
We just got hammered with rain and there wasn't any damage.
Wasps & insects 😬
I'm pro-bug.
