Well remember... This is a British show That's not something that would be taught in English schools as much. I do history, and the amount you cover for the Easter rising covered a good bit of detail, but some of those questions meant you had to be an expert in that topic so it was a bit harder then I expected.
i had an english roommate years ago in boston and she told me during her years of school they learnt about the english civil war , the american revolution , general european history and history of the empire , but ,, the word Ireland was not mentioned once in history , geography or anywhere else , she obviously knew the Irish were bombing england when she lived there but never knew why and it was assumed the bombings were a result of us hating the english for no reason , thats how proud they are of their history !
