- Örebro is a mid-sized town between Stockholm and Gothenburg, and most famous for an awesome castle in the middle of town. A castle...with ghosts!
Come along on an exploration of all the things you can find in Örebro. I check out Örebro Castle, the Mushroom water tower, St. Nicolai Church, and the most beautiful views of town. I also explore Wadköping, an open-air museum where I discover an amazingly geeky store, and the Karlslund mansion with its surrounding gardens.

My homecity, the bench was a part of open art every second year. Not to many people know about this place.

The "mushroom" does seem rather oddly out of place...it is unique though, have to at least give it that...got to love a good humorous look at the ordinary things of life...thanks so much!

@@martinskoog1777 That is so bizarre! So they have mushroom towers out there in the desert somewhere? Time to google... Oh, and they have big glowing mushrooms in Singapore as well, in the Gardens by the Bay.

1971 a copy of Svampen was built (only 33% bigger) in Saudi-Arabias capital Riyadh.
The replica/copy was built on the wishes of Prince Faisal bin Abdul Aziz. :)
