#38- Acrylic Bloom W/ Purples on a 24 inch Convexo Round Canvas

Hello friends, thank you so much for watching my videos. Your support means so much to me. Just a little about me. I'm a 58 year old Grandma. I started painting 2 yrs ago after watching TH-cam videos. I quickly began studying this art form and fell in love with it. Please be patient as I work at making more videos and better videos.

Recipe
3 parts Behr 8300 Base C Untinted
Housepaint
1 part Jo Sonja Gloss Varnish
Melt pigments in a small amount of JoSonja. stir til the pigments have completely dissolved. Then add the 3 to 1 mix. It should be the perfect consistency leaving a 2 to 3 second trace when drizzled from a pop cycle stick.
For tube paints add 2 oz of 3 to 1 mix to your plastic ramekins. Add two pea size drops of tube paint. Stir well. You'll need to add more josonja til you get the same consistency as your pigments.
Base Paint- Sherwin Williams Color to go. The color is a pale lavender called Agapanthas.
CellActivator is 1 parts Amstjerdam Oxide Black to 2.5 parts Australian flotroel.

Purple is my fav color and my birthstone color. This is lovely!
I think the reason it didn’t come out evenly your first go round, is bc your turn table was spinning the canvas crookedly. It was spinning towards that one side more. In order to have evened it out, you needed to over direct your canvas in the opposite direction and then spin it. If your turn table is even slightly off balance, you have to move your canvas around until the weight is distributed evenly. Even if that means your canvas is way off center. Your flower line started just slightly off center in the beginning and that probably had something to do with it sliding more to one side right away.
I think it turned so pretty in spite of any problems you had! The colors you used turned out gorgeous!💜

You can also get plungers from any pharmacy to suck the paint up without having the sirringe on it. And I find it sucks it up better than the pipettes.
