Tens, if not Hundreds of thousands of years of layered snowfall showing the climatic history of the planet. Ash from distant eruptions, dust storms... its incredible.
You’re so right. I wouldn’t be around at all Nature is great but dangerous too when it comes to such icebergs You only see the small parts of it at the top In Greenland we have such a respect for such iceberg’s that we don’t get close at all So foolish to get a huge tsunami I was thinking; get lost 😄
As bergs roll and plant their heavy face down, those who are close do not know what is coming up, since 90% of the berg is hidden underwater. Quite often an attached ice "spur" surfaces dozens of feet away from the main berg. If allowed to up beneath a boats hull, it will hole the hull or worse yet capsize the boat. Keep away from bergs.
It certainly didn't look like 90% of this berg was below the surface, but I get what you're saying. Being this close to one as it's flipping over is very risky and ....dumb.
@@shakshbh That's blue ice!!! Apparently it is so cold it can't be handled and when it melts it doesn't turn into water it just disappears. The oxygen levels in it are way higher than normal ice. It's like the God particle.
I always assumed that nature sounded a lot different than my home audio equipment. This sounded very natural & serene. Almost like I was on my couch, wrapped in a warm blanket and sipping hot chocolate.
I am from The Bahamas where our average temp ranges in the mid 80s I love my tropical climate but I can appreciate the beauty of these icebergs. They r majestic & beautiful
I agree Vman!! The music was funeral music for a dying Ice Berg. You're supposed to bury your face in a black handkerchief and cry hysterically over an Ice Berg that was murdered by the Obama Administration.
Whenever people see icebergs, and then also hear that it’s near Newfoundland, people like me will remember that south of Newfoundland, 400 miles away on the night of April 15th, 1912 will remember that the largest & most luxurious ship in the world has sunken there... by striking an iceberg... *Titanic.*
I bet you a hundred dollar that the reason why there is music instead of the original audio is because the camera man was swearing too much "holy shit fuck jesus pancake" and he was ashamed that it ruined its video ^^
Have they ever taken samples from icebergs and tested them in a lab... There must be so many frozen creatures and other microorganisms that we haven’t seen or heard of in there,
i have seen some icebergs that make that look like an ice cube you know that only 1 tenth of the total burgs mass is showing above the water line ok when it measures 870 miles wide 1700 miles long and 1200 feet thick from the water line that is one enormous chunk of ice THAT IS JUST ONE EXAMPLE SEARCH LARGEST ICEBERG ON RECORD
I imagine an iceberg just like that, maybe a bit smaller hitting the titanic. Guess the music makes me feel that way. Anyone know why there's blue lines in it?
It was a baby Ice Berg crying for it's dying mommy. You would think Obama and Green Peace would have made an effort to save the Ice Berg instead of breaking up this family.

These guys were lucky twice. Lucky to have been there to see the event, and lucky not to have been clocked by the iceberg turning over!
It’s not smart to get that close to an iceberg, even a small one like this one!
You’re so right.
I wouldn’t be around at all

The music made it feel like the Iceberg was dying
Michaeljack81sk ,I
Well actually you're right, Icebergs are dying every second*
It was
That's pretty much it. It die in front of his eyes
Hahahahahahahahhaha
xD

Rain Coast birbs
I was waiting for that to happen when it was rolling. 8) Crazy!
They see me rollin'
They hatin'
patrolin'
tryin to capsize my dingy !
Whitch info book did you swallow
It certainly didn't look like 90% of this berg was below the surface, but I get what you're saying. Being this close to one as it's flipping over is very risky and ....dumb.
I could swear I saw that happen in my Whiskey Sour glass recently.
The streaks of blue running through the iceberg are remarkable...
What causes it
frozen ocean without humans polluting it millions of years ago. without humans all oceans would be that color blue!

LUCKY YOU DIDNT LOSE THE BOAT
I am from The Bahamas where our average temp ranges in the mid 80s I love my tropical climate but I can appreciate the beauty of these icebergs. They r majestic & beautiful
Wow that's very interesting.
we all poop out the same hole eh! and you can keep your wheather too.... if yer even still alive
Would have rather heard the actual audio than the darn music
I'll bet there was some freaking out!
Those musicians froze their asses off to bring this drama to you so lighten up.
David Dowling
Lol!! Are you serious?
no Rob, he's hilarious.
Tyvm
I could do without the music.
fucking jog on then mate
I agree Vman!! The music was funeral music for a dying Ice Berg. You're supposed to bury your face in a black handkerchief and cry hysterically over an Ice Berg that was murdered by the Obama Administration.
NC Vman
Mute the sound.
It was crap music but it was probably in place of screaming women so it might have been for the best.
He kindly edited out the "Oh my god!"'s for us.

Huge ? I don't know... But don't get too close !!! Thanks for posting
Very dangerous to go near.
They are capable of doing anything, and can crush a small craft without a problem.
They are capable of doing anything?? You mean like shoot bolts of lightning or fly up and attack boats? Anything is pretty broad!
They were way too close to that iceberg to begin with, since most of its mass is underwater.
Iceberg is like: This is my better side.
That could have ended badly for those folks...
I think i would have chosen less sombre music for this video. Would have went for something that portrays a sense of awe and wonder instead.
Icebergs are so cool... not as cool as they used to be when attached to a glacier but still pretty chilled
I like the darker blue layers that they put in there.
Absolutely breathtaking.
I bet you a hundred dollar that the reason why there is music instead of the original audio is because the camera man was swearing too much "holy shit fuck jesus pancake" and he was ashamed that it ruined its video ^^
+Fabzil
lol
+Fabzil If there were Americans on the boat they would have been yelling OMYGAAADOMYGAAADOMYGAAADOMYGAAAD
Just loses his mind and starts screaming every racial slur in the book and cursing out every god humans have ever worshipped
Have they ever taken samples from icebergs and tested them in a lab...
There must be so many frozen creatures and other microorganisms that we haven’t seen or heard of in there,
We make vodka from them, here in Newfoundland. At least, one company does. :)
We use the icebergs to make beer...wine and water...the purest of water
I learned something today.
*Guy on boat*- "Do a barrel roll!"
*Iceberg*- "I gotchu fam"
Interesting video, but a "huge" iceberg? There's barely enough there to assist a good bottle of Scotch.
How great is God
Amazing footage!
Somebody going to drown doing that in boat. Stay well clear of bergs.....very unpredictable.
.
Very unpredictable? it's a big lump of floating ice! it's not going to jump on you and maul you or pull a knife or a gun on you!
jonny somers my god your stupid if you don’t know what they meant
in the beginning when the berg started flipping i thiught for sure the boat behind it was going under thats crazy
i think jonny lives in the Bronx
Thank you. Subscribed.
Wow, how many people get to experience that? Amazing!🙏🏼🌍🌈
I wonder if the ice berg that sunk the titanic is still floating around
Big or small, it's a sight to behold.
Good video.
WOW this is really spectacular ❣️
I'd say this is more interesting in Club Penguin.
A sight to behold.
What kind of filter did you put over the camera? Vaseline spread or mesh screen?
FOCUS---FOCUS
Just like an ice cube turning over in your glass of lemonade.
Huge!!?? If this is huge, then we have a new (small) definition of huge.
tsacutally a pretty small iceberg, just saying
Compared to what i've seen THIS SMALL FRY !BUT COOL NUN THE LESS !
Amazing
I didn’t know icebergs tip. That was pretty interesting.
Did that thing flip crack and re freeze😳??
People are more concerned about icebergs than the souls of man.
It tipped over and had a long black line equal to the cut on the ' Titanic '.
Pretty amazing stuff...
You can always tell when I've had enough politics here in the States; I start watching the giant Icebergs break up or flip over.
That was BEAUTIFUL thanks
i have seen some icebergs that make that look like an ice cube you know that only 1 tenth of the total burgs mass is showing above the water line
ok when it measures 870 miles wide 1700 miles long and 1200 feet thick from the water line that is one enormous chunk of ice THAT IS JUST ONE EXAMPLE

Titanic 2: From the icebergs perspective.
I've been cow tipping before, but I've never ever been iceberg tipping.....
What is the term--the verb--for when an iceberg flips over? I heard it several times while in Newfoundland at the end of the season.
We say they roll (I'm from Newfoundland).
also founder
Mesmerizing! I wanna go there!
Hooper drives the boat, Chief. And Hooper wouldn't risk getting that close.
Let's go iceberg tipping!!!
how many years old is that
I think i saw a frozen susquatch in the ice, but afterward i was hearing the voices again.
That's a small iceberg for here.
Well that's a first!......and I agree with the group here....REAL AUDIO would have been GREAT...cool share anyhoo
after 12 years we finally did it
Majestic. So lonely, however.
Ice cubes when you put them in water
You must have a different definition on "Flip Over" than I do. It just fell over on its side.
Always wondered how they cooked throes things on both sides.
BBC would report this as Brexit uncertainty causes iceberg to roll over.
Holy Shit that would scare the fuck out of me if I was on one of those boats next to the iceberg.
I was more interested in the person with the camera. Did they leave a note 📝 for next of kin?
What a shame the beautiful music was spoiled by the footage of the flipping ice berg.
ygg drasil Maybe the people involved were screaming their heads off.
Or???? What a shame this beautiful ice berg was spoiled by this flipping music. :-)
Can you tell me what is the title ?
That damn squirrel
I imagine an iceberg just like that, maybe a bit smaller hitting the titanic. Guess the music makes me feel that way.
Anyone know why there's blue lines in it?
I liked that part where I watched a piece of ice float in water to the backdrop of some shitty music.
epicbikerguy I have to say "thanks, Man. I needed that." still chucklin...
It was a baby Ice Berg crying for it's dying mommy. You would think Obama and Green Peace would have made an effort to save the Ice Berg instead of breaking up this family.
Ice bergs love them some Leonardo DiCaprio. Sling show Leo onto the Ice berg and let nature do the rest!!
How about real sound for a change?
Come giacio di cristallo se scioglere da Grande Glacio/Iceberg verso Oceano a base di Gravitazione.E bella vista di fisico-chemia a rotare e scioglere into Oceano.
Hey there Hank Johnson. Islands like Guam DO NOT capsize but icebergs sure do. Why not ask the Navy about them????
Huge Iceberg my arse!
More like huge title fail, including video quality and hideous music.
Only a serial killer adds music to a video like this
Very nice video. Great to see the natural oscillation of the ice while it finds its balance..
those boats been disturbing its centre of gravity.
We see massive icebergs here on the coast of st.johns nfld
Came here while studying Fluid Mechanics
The music makes me think that Godzilla is going to pop up any time. What a dirge.
not 'huge', there are other berg flips on video much much larger
These things oughtta come with warning labels
You call that a huge iceberg???? You mean a tiny iceberg!
WOW!
The music is beautiful!
The music was awful
Does the word FOCUS mean anything?
Small iceberg flips over.
It seems alive
sooo lucky it didn't roll towards the boat. way to close. It could crush a boat like that like an egg.
says its 1080p but its actually 240p.
What about the extremely bad quality? 1080p my ass.
So that's how icebergs die.
There goes our drinking water!
Great video but these folks put themselves in danger being that close to the ice. They’re lucky nothing came up under their boat.
The water is getting warmer not able to sustain the proper climate to keep icebergs cold
Um.... wow. Never knew things like this happened. Like how?
As an iceberg melts it's buoyancy and center of gravity changes. It will roll until it finds its new center of gravity
Iceberg was trying to swim away from the crappy music
