  • Sultana Mihrimah Won The Power War "I DON’T
    FORGIVE!"
    Magnificent Century Episode 103 👉 • Magnificent Century Ep...
    Suleiman loses Hatice after Hurrem. He gets devastated as Hatice dies in his arms. He loses hopes for finding Hurrem after Hatice. Suleiman loses his love within his sister. Suleiman sets off to campaign with the fire burning in his heart. Mihrimah takes the menagement of harem and forbids Sultana Sah to enter the palace.
    Mustafa loses his dreams of the throne but he builds hopes again thanks to soldier's loyalty. Mahidevran takes an action to kill Mehmet. Mihrimah corners Sultana Şah. Bali Bey chases up the clue he has found. Suleiman who is proud of Mehmet's success gets devastated with the bad news received from Manisa. Suleiman who is on the brink of the abyss revives miraculously.
    At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
    The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
    As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

    Honestly, that bit about about Mihrimah being "the same" as Hürrem isn't far off at all as, historically, she was reported to be as "spirted and strong willed" as her.

      This is my favorite dress of hers... We see it worn several times in this series by others and in the Kosem series too, but Mihrimah wore it the best!!

    A reminder (because why not, I suppose) that Şah couldn't have faced execution for what she did. The dynasty's sense of respect for their own blood was strong (the method of death by strangulation was used specifically to keep that blood from being spilled) and not a single Imperial Princess would face death throughout the whole span of the Ottoman Empire. Still, what Mihrimah offers _is_ kinder as it allows Şah to leave with her pride as opposed to being stripped of respect and assets and or placed under house arrest (which happened to Imperial princesses involved in a coup; can go into that if asked).

      Um…there are several instances of girl children being killed during shifts of power in the Ottoman succession. Not as widespread as sons and brothers, but women were routinely killed when judged to be a threat to the throne.

      @@texanlady4I don't know what planted this concept in your head, but, no, there are absolutely _not_ any cases of such a thing occurring. The Ottoman Empire permitted only men to succeed to the throne, which rendered Imperial princesses a complete non-threat in that regard. Those that didn't share a mother with a reigning sultan would be less favored or stripped of former prestige but never, not once, were a single one of them ever murdered.

      @@Redluna32 Mehmed III had over 20 of his sisters killed along with all his brothers.

    • @Redluna32
      @Redluna32 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@texanlady4I don't know where you came across such information, but, no, that absolutely didn't happen. The executions of Mehmed III's nineteen brothers is well recorded because that was the first time the law of fratricide was enacted to such an extent, but there's no mention of any Imperial princesses losing their lives. At best, I can only think you're getting confused with the 17 unnamed sisters of Mehmed III that died as a result of a smallpox epidemic in 1598, three years after he became sultan.

    • @texanlady4
      @texanlady4 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Redluna32 nope. He had those sisters executed, along with all his fathers pregnant concubines (didn’t want to wait to see if any of them were boys), all the Nannie’s/attendants/tutors of his brothers and sisters, and then executed the executioners that carried out his mass familial genocide.

    Shah would be ended for what she did, dont believe those who tell the opposite. Hurrem sultan is dynasty member, whoever goes against her is ended. Shah wouldnt escape this. She can be as much imperial princess as she wants, she still would be ended.

You lost shahuban, you lost by hurrem sultan already and now you lose by mihrimah sultan as well. You leave as hatun while hurrem sultan will leave as valide sultan, you couldnt prevent it.
