- This is a taste test/review of Nestle Nesquik in four varieties including Vanilla, Chocolate, Double Chocolate and Strawberry.
The Strawberry was $2.09 at Speedway. 1 bottle (14 Fl Oz.) = 250 calories
The Vanilla was $1.49 at Meijer. 1 bottle (14 Fl Oz.) = 250 calories

I didn’t even know vanilla milk was a thing until I purchased a bottle of it from a gas station. I loved it.
I'm definitely in agreement with you two on the Nesquik flavours. The chocolate just can't quite cut it. Strawberry is still tops.
Usually I pass over vanilla in favor of more exciting flavors, but in this case it's calling to me!

The banana one is my childhood. I used to come home from school and eat a pack of dry 2 minute noodles crumbled up with endless glasses of banana Nesquik lol. Is eating dry noodles (you may call them ramen) a thing in America? Memories!
I think I remember the banana flavoured Nesquik from my childhood too, but I haven't seen it stocked here in Tassie for a very long time. The mainland probably had it for a good while longer though.
I think banana would do very well here. I don't know why they don't make it as a limited edition just for a trial run.
I love ramen, cooked or dry! I don't know if other Americans eat dry ramen a lot...but in college I ate them that way quite often. 😋
I like dried ramen too, I'll break up a package of it and put it in a container with a little bit of the seasoning my favorite being the creamy chicken and having it as a salty snack instead of chips/crackers.
I once saw the vanilla powder at a Walmart in the Spanish food section. That was a year or two ago though. They have a high protein vanilla and chocolate milk as well. I sometimes get them at Kroger.
To me the best is the banana flavored. To bad you guys haven't reviewed it yet. I hope its available in your area, I'm in Georgia.

hey guys, i actually live in arlington virginia and have never seen the vanilla or the double chocolate flavors.
i grew up on the nestle chocolate powder and the strawberry powder too. the powder makes the best shakes
but you need to use a hand or a wand mixer to really dissolve that powder. now i'm tempted to go by a can of the chocolate powder!!!
I love to have the sugar at the bottom of the cup. That's my favorite part.
For me, I generally choose Muscle Milk, non-dairy protein shake a lot. I also choose unsweetened almond milk.
Strawberry is always the best; or as I used to say, "Pink Milk"!! :)
The vanilla one literally tastes like it has some ice cream in it

I have an idea for you to get rid of the slogs at the bottom of the milk put the milk and your nesquik in the blender

Strawberry and strawberry banana were my favorites! Child me used to mash together vanilla ice cream and strawberry nesquik powder...it stays a little gritty and you get all this amazing strawberry sugar 😭😍
I drank a bit of Nesquik as a kid but it wasn't really my favorite. I preferred either shamrock farms or store brand chocolate/strawberry milk or those hershey's shakes.. They were so good but I can't imagine drinking all of those calories now! Lol

I haven't had strawberry nesquik in years one of my favorite strawberry milk is Promised Lands Very Berry Strawberry Milk.

I use to love nesquick choclate, but sense they changed the formula a long time ago I don't buy them anymore. It used to be so creamy an good. Now its overally sweet.

my little brother always begs me to make chocolate strawberry milk with the syrups , we don’t get the powder . ive always been a little grossed out by it so i havent tried it , but maybe hes onto something!
I have seen the banana ready made milk here in Indiana. It was either at Meijer or Speedway, I can't remember.
I would rather have the powder so I could add more or less of it as I wanted to. But really, I'll stick to my Special K shakes. Good review

Nesquik Sugar Sludge lol. Banana sounds like a good idea, our asian market has banana milk in a Korean brand and it's great.

Tami Dunn I Beileve They Have A Strawberry Flavor With Banana In It Also They Have A Fat Free Version Of The Regular Chocolate Flavor Oh And In The Chocolate Powder Mix They Have A Sugar Free Version Called Nesquick No Sugar!
Nesquik is my favorite as well an love the Strawberry an dont know if you know or not but they make Banana powder an in the Banana milk drink in the bottle an its great

You guys are 100% correct the powder is the best everything else is nasty.
I'd probably go with the regular chocolate as my favorite. Never seen the vanilla one before, but I'd think it was just regular/plain white milk. When I think of Nesquik, I think chocolate milk. So if I did see the vanilla, I'd probably still pass on it since Nesquik = chocolate in my opinion. I never tried the strawberry since I'm not a strawberry milk person. I like strawberry ice cream though. Just not strawberry milk. I might've tried the double chocolate. Can't remember. If I did, I didn't notice a difference between regular and double chocolate. But I also don't drink Nesquik milk that much. I only drink it if I'm traveling/on a trip/vacation for a few days and I won't have easy access to milk like I would if I were at home and I decide to grab some milk for later when I'm at a gas station. And some hotels I stay at will just have juice for their breakfast. I don't even drink the powder Nesquik that much either so I can't compare the bottles to the powder version to tell the difference between the two. So I can accept the taste of the bottles that already have the mix mixed in. But I like the regular chocolate the most out of the bottles where the milk and mix are already mixed together. I have a little better job of accepting it since I don't really drink Nesquik that much altogether and don't have the taste of it that fresh in my head to be able to recall it and compare. There actually is Nesquik mix in my house, but my mom uses it for a cookie recipe. I'm a little hesitant on using it for normal use and outside her cookie recipe.

Binging some of your old reviews haha. Vanilla is always my all time favorite, but I wish they made powder and syrup lol. I could’ve sworn when I was growing up in the late 90’s & early 2000’s (I was born in 97) they had them, but I don’t know haha
I knew they had the vanilla flavor in powder form but never knew they had it in syrup form they stopped making the powder version in 2006 for unknown reason (I was born in 96) by the way

Plain low-fat milk has about 175 calories in 14 ounces... so you are really only adding 75 calories, that’s not too bad if it gets kids to drink milk instead of soda which is about the same calories and pretty much s sugar. They make a banana one that is really good...

I'm with Ashley,least amount of dishes as possible.98% my meals are usually only 1 pan and what ever I cook enough for lunch and dinner.
I do my meat in pan and my veggies are the microwave steamable veggie bags.

I grew up on the powder. Loved it as a kid. Don't like it now. I have had the Strawberry and I like it over the chocolate. I am thinking they did have banana and maybe Strawberry Banana too. It might have been another brand. I have not tried the Banana flavor. I don't like the candy banana flavoring in most things. I had to take medicine as a child that was candy banana flavored and that is what I think of with candy banana flavoring. I don't like the taste of bubble gum flavoring either. It reminds me of penicillin which was bubble gum flavored.
I had a banana medicine when I was little too...I can still taste its chalky, artificial yellow thickness. Shudder!

I had the nestle chocolate in the bottle recently and I said the same thing: the taste was very artificial. The powder ingredients are definitely better.
Well, I'm glad I don't drink Nesquik that often. I'm talking both in the bottle and in mix form. Whenever I do get the bottles of the regular chocolate, I don't see anything wrong with it. Tastes fine to me. But it tastes worse than the chocolate milk I can get that is made by a brand that is locally owned here in my town. But even then I can still accept it since I can't get the milk brands in my town when I'm traveling.

It’s a new one a strawberry banana
Was on eBay and amazon Canada for both. US and Canadian version have no vitamins or minerals. UK version is full of potassium, iron, zinc, folate, even has NATURAL COLOURS AND Flavours. So forget the US version. UK WINS THIS ONE. POWDER FOREVER
