Mares has always been good when it comes to cold water diving. In the open recreational scuba system, the old Mares 12III regulator was the one we used when diving under the ice etc. It simply never ever froze.
"...Make sure there is no water in the mushroom valves". Anyone who has dived CCR knows that this is unpreventable - warm wet lung exhalation versus a cold convoluted hose = condensation? So what is the Mares answer to this? It would have been nice to see some suggestions like more hose insulation or a heated DSV.
Besser kann man nicht testen. Die Kombination von atmospärischer Kälte, kaltem Wasser, Eis ist großartig. Im Sommer sind wir dort auch getaucht. Mit Mono 15, einfachem Automaten Wt 2-8°C. Keine Vereiser. Beste Luft, bestes Wasser, beste russische Kameraden.
Tf is wrong with you ?? Its not CCRs that fails in 99% of cases, its drivers fault, if you take O² CCR to 70m and you die, is CCR fault that you are dead ?

On Baikal we use steel 15 liter doublevalved and twins 12 liters cose of fresh water need a lot more weghts
