looks like you rode it clock wise, try it counter clock wise and it's a bit more fun. Did the 2022 Dragonslayer race out there and it's a challenge for multiple laps
Thanks for the video road this trail some recently and been looking for the portions that don’t beat you up to ride with the kids. Though you sure make that part sound boring.
It took me about 4 hours of riding time, with about 30min of stopping for rest. Would definitely recommend waiting till the winter to do it, the summer heat is brutal.
If you do the additions they added for the Dragon's Slayer Race, it's 30 miles. I live right by the lake, so I go out there all the time. It will def beat you up if you don't keep up your speed haha
at the end of the dam, go to the dead end part and follow the trail to the right and around to the left and you'll pick up one of the loops. Not the greatest, but there's a couple of sections you can go fast on. Pretty much just adds miles to the whole loop.
You didn’t see that black bear at the 1:16 mark, did you? Yes, we have black bears in Georgetown. Especially since the drought and clearing of land. I’ve caught several on camera in just the last week. I’ve been talking to the Texas black bear alliance to get someone to make sure they are relocated to a safe area.
I also rode this on my 27.5 bike. You left out the tech climb after that first big downhill section. Tons of fun. But overall the loop has little flow and needs to be re-worked for mountain bikers.

That’s one my favorite trails. I’ve done the loop about 5 times. Now I just start at overlook, ride to just before the double track and ride back.
I did the loop but don't remember the jeep trail being 8 miles long???
the flat open singletrack + jeep road is about 8 miles long. The 8 miles flies by though since you can go pretty fast on it
its cool haveing a mtb channel that does your local trails.

Good to know, how long did it take you? I plan to try it out soon

Moving to GT next month I’ll definitely all this trail on my list

Hey bro, that trail is brutal, we didn't make it.

Too rough. Hate it

Nope, let it be, there are other MTB trails close by if in need of flow.. this trail is for testing/solidifying your technical skills 😂
