Seriously Japan need to promote this more not weird typical jpop girl groups because that's what most of people in korea think about jpop ( well, not only koreans but most of the world) I love Faky and many Underground japanese musicians and it's sad when It's not able to find something just because They don't promote.
I am not asian, but I love multiple genres. It surprises me a lot that japan doesn't promote their artist a lot. From what I read and researched it is because japanese music is generally for japan population. Therefore some songs might have region block and when searching for Jpop songs it is hard to find kinds of artists and different concepts because when searching up J genre music what pops up are Anime Openings or Vocaloids. Anima and manga are things that loads of people love and Vocaloids have gained a lot of global popularity. So, they kind of thought eh, we got anime, manga, and vocaloids there is no need for our artist to be out there. Okay maybe not like that, but that is sort of the gist. So, yeah it can be a bit hard to find kinds of J genre because it really isn't meant for those outside of asia and maybe Japan in general. Though if it seems that their artist or groups are gaining recognition outside of asia or globally then they would there best to work with that. Like BabyMetal for example. It was just for Japan population but gained recognition in the west, so they did an American Tour there. Now, I am not sure if that is the case or just part of the reason why most of us don't know much about Jpop or Japan not fully promoting their artist. It could be part of the reason, but most people are saying that it is. So, yeah please don't count on me on that.
