I think the important thing is that Angel _thinks_ Charlie is in danger. Which says two things. Firstly, it is indicative how how much Valentino has abused him, and secondly, Angel cares enough about Charlie to not want her anywhere near that.
Yeh and despite how powerful Charlie is. Vaggie is right, her pure heart doesn’t allow her use her authority or power in a way that someone like Alastor would. But it does show when push comes to shove. She will go full demon to protect someone she cares about. And Val knows this and that’s definitely why he didn’t say anything to her directly and got Angel to force her to leave. Cuz he knows he can’t harm her unless he wants to unleash the wrath of Lucifer. But he can use her friend’s feelings against her. That’s why Val wasn’t even phased that Charlie going full demon.
What I noticed about that scene is Angel is the ONLY person that thinks Charlie is in danger because even when Angel begged Valentino not to hurt her he continued to only threaten Angel
@@petethelman957 I think Valentino wasn't really scared of Charlie because if push came to shove he still had Angel as a "hostage". Even if she smoked him he could take Angel down with him, and she wouldn't risk it
@@pabloc8808 It's also her History. Valentino has likely never heard of Charlie hurting anyone ever. So he likely thinks she's not capable of it. Whether because she's too soft or simply because she didn't inherit her father strength, either way Val doesn't think her dangerous. Angel being his final safeguard probably does allow him to feel even safer though, knowing he has a trump card in case he's wrong about her.
It was very touching and heartbreaking how Angel was more scared for Charlie than for himself. He really does care. Also, "Loser, Baby" is the best song in the show by far. Keith David and Blake Roman have great voices, and I love the message. It's not your usual, "cheer up, things will get better" song. It's more realistic. it's saying, "both our lives suck, but at least we're not alone." I'm so glad Angel Dust has Husk to confide in now.
@@mitchellneuhoff9946Even though I do kind of ship Huskerdust I agree that what angel needs more than anything is a platonic friend who will have his back no matter what and who he can confide in. So either way they end up going with their relationship I'll be happy
It also shows just how much power Val has over Angel. Not just in the literal sense with the contract, but psychologically. Charlie is capable of slapping Val into a stain on the wall like the pest he is if she so wished(as a half-angel, it might even be permanent too). In fact, from the looks, she may have been about to do just that, she looked _pissed._ But Angel is too broken to think about that right now. At the end of the day, Angel was tricked into protecting Val from Charlie, not the other way around

A fan theory in the Poison sequence is after the line “I disassociate, disappear” the images that appear on the screens behind him are what’s *ACTUALLY* happening to him, and the foreground footage is what Angel’s mind is his denial.
There was a lot of "oh they glamorized it" comments, yeah, but I agree (as a survivor of SA) that they did a good job showing how it can be. The fear, the fucked up way you can still love and even desire your abuser despite everything, hoping things will change, and then the sadness and anger and helplessness when things don't change. It's a complicated mess, and it's okay to present it as a complicated mess. (Plus, I'm 99% sure that the so-called "glamorized" dance sequence is something happening in Angel's head-- he says something about dissociating, and it'd make sense if this was something he was imagining to himself to escape mentally from the shoot.) Thank you for your video, and understanding of the situation!
It's 100% disassociation. Not only does it happen after him dropping that line, but you can tell because they make a hard separation between him and the one being abused by Val. The way his dance moves mimic actions he's being forced to participate in (the camera flashes that show brief images of himself as he's dancing) and then Val comes into the dance to yank him away and now the dancer is in the place of the camera behind him. I also don't think it's something Val made him film because I think that takes away from the dance itself being his less sexualized escape from his abuse.
The "glamour" is Angels defense mechanism He's such a good actor that he puts on a mask to dissociate himself from the pain Notice how the minute he is no longer on camera or in Val's presence He breaks down and talks about how he wishes he had something to live for, cause all he has is poison That last end of the song literally pushes back on any notion that the song was making light of it
There's something really BEAUTIFUL about Loser, Baby, because it does something Charlie can't do for all that she wants to help. She has such high hopes for everyone and sometimes it feels impossible to reach those goals so people feel even worse about themselves. Whereas Husk meets Angel on the same level, not because he doesn't think Angel can't be better. But because he knows Angel needs to feel like he has someone with him in the pit before he can start climbing.
Angel Dust deserves so much better than this. The way Valentino treats him and what Angel said about trying to get broken enough that Val will let him go, it's really painful to watch. I'm glad he and Husk have found common ground and can support eachother. And I love the message in "Loser, Baby." It's not your usual, "cheer up, things will get better" song. It's more realistic. Yeah, Angel's life is screwed up, but he's not alone. He now has someone who understands that he can look to for support. That's as good a start as any.
As hard as this episode was it was nice to see the on screen confirmation of how much Angel really does care about Charlie. Also Charlie messed up but she quickly learned from her mistake so that was nice too. The voice actor for Angel really demonstrated how much emotion he puts into his work in this one.
Smh. It's Twitter...they're always triggered. I swear, it's run by a bunch of babies that can't handle the truth, which is a truth that happens in real life all the time, as much as we don't like discussing it. This show doesn't glorify or make fun of sexual abuse; it just doesn't shelter its audience from how cruel it can be...in other words, it's treating its audience like grown-ups, which is why Twitter can't handle it. The honesty makes them feel uncomfortable, and people don't like feeling uncomfortable even if it helps them grow and understand more about the world...sometimes especially so.
Right like they were saying it was fetishising and romanticizing... like you're telling on yourself, what about Angel being abused and exploited while singing about his misery got them hot and bothered... it was a really raw and visceral look into how sinister sexual abuse and exploitation can be, especially in such a flawed industry as pornography.
Of course Twitter always misinterpreting topics and conversations. I'm thinking hello it's a 18+ show to show more mature topics despite it being animated in 2D
I had to step in personally and speak to my own trauma because I was claimed to be a bad person for praising the scene. Mind you, Angel and I share a profession and I’ve dealt with this flavor of abuse all too often, and I cope very similarly to Angel.
One of the most subtle and fucked up things we see in the poison mv is actually the ending. We see Vox go into the camera and watch Anthony's breakdown at the end. Man literally is given no peace or privacy in that hellhole, not even in the moment where he needs and deserves such things most.
Ok thanks for the reminder I'm 18 and trying to take to watching an adult show very slowly but also I'm family friendly and get nervous about these things still tried to watch this reaction though and made a comment but yeah one of my Friends is a fan fan of the series actually gave me warnings me about the show
Loser baby is such a good song for angel dust specifically. Angel didn’t need positive affirmations at that point. He can’t be a “perfect innocent victim” and he needs to be told that he’s worth loving anyway. I think that’s really important. Hypersexuality, drugs, and alcohol are all bad coping mechanisms, but they don’t make him worthless. Anthony deserves love and healing regardless of how he copes or what happened to him. I got off track but yeah, this episode is fantastic
*and* asked her if she wanted a role, implying he wanted her to work for him. She doesn't have a soul to sell but I'm sure Val could find a way to possess and abuse her anyway. And Lucifer would go ballistic.
I like that knock on the fourth wall, some people complain that musicals are ridiculous because people don't burst out singing in the middle of the street and in this show the characters themselves acknowledge that it is indeed kinda dumb
About Velvette... Those love potions in this episode are one of her mass produced products, ads were even featured in episode 3. What's more, they are a collaboration with Valentino using the pheromones in his spit, which he normally uses as his influencing red smoke but is elevated to a LEGAL MAGICAL ROOFEE when used as a potion
As someone who was s/a'd for years by a family member and just recently learning that it wasn't normal in families, I felt for Angel extremely hard. I hope he gets the help he deserves and hope everyone who's going through the same gets the love and help they deserve.
Before episode 5 came out this was my favorite episode. This was a topic we all knew was coming ever since the addicted music video and oof that was rough but that’s the realistic to what victims of the same abuse go through. Angel’s journey of bettering himself and separating himself from Valentino will be good to watch. Angel truly cares about Charlie which I love. Keith David delivering in the music department isn’t shocking I love his duet with Angel it’s so heartwarming comforting him saying they are both losers who make the best of what they can is endearing.
i honestly want to thank you for taking the time to sit and feel those scenes and explain your compassion for those in similar situations. I normally have seen u so bubbly and and to see this from u gave me emotional yet happy tears. Ty ty for just being human and feeling and not judging or downplaying
It’s gonna be whiplash seeing me crying my eyes out in this episode and then seeing me giddy for Lucifer in the next one 😅❤😂 And thank you for appreciating it! I know it can be a comfortable topic but it’s something really important to me. If I can help anyone and provide a little education, I have too. It’s such a scary world out there but we can all help one another to make it a little safer.
“Hopefully it’s a good time, and it’s fun, and it doesn’t make me sad” 😳 Um… yeah sorry. I even put a comment on your episode 3 reaction saying you’re going to want your plushies nearby to cuddle with because this episode is not easy to watch. That being said it’s my favorite episode of the show so far despite the subject matter.
Virtual hugs zamber You deserve all the virtual hugs you can have from everyone. I know that we all love you and you’re a beautiful soul we watch your videos, loving seeing your reaction and a kind heart you have. Thank you for this.
The most disgusting thing I heard after an SA attempt, followed by a further much worse attempt, was from the wife of the predator who said "It takes two to tango. So what did you do to deserve it?" That shit was burned into me because I was very young (still an adult, but barely), and I was taken in by these people for a couple weeks as my car was in the shop and my car was my home at the time. Glad I left that city.Wish I could tell them off. What's more dusgusting than what they did and said, is the fact that I believed I was in the wrong for awhile. But I've fucking grown.
I personally knew a few women who went through similar situations like this whether it’s the “job” and/or the abuse and it’s obviously horrible. Fortunately they managed to get out, but only two of them I know had a good life afterwards or basically were able to move forward with their lives while leaving that in the past. This stuff is real and I find it very unfortunate how many women who want to do related work like this and either don’t know how high the risks can be or they don’t care. That and the abuse is real too and people need help and get out of it right away. The episode does a good job showing that one bad side of how the real world can be, but it also shows how there’s someone who can be there for them as well.
As a r and sa victim I reacted very hard to this whole episode, took me a whole day to come back and finish it. I really liked how you shed light upon the abuse and worded it so nicely ❤
You can see how Val manipulate everything, he knew he could not take on Charlie so he drag Angel alone and told him that he could hurt her...and Angel just wanted to protect her but let be Honnest if Angel didn't step in, Val would have a pretty hard time flying again..
See unless Charlie straight up killed Val then Anthony would still have his soul bound to Val and I can’t see Charlie, no matter how mad, ever killing anything or anyone. And anything Charlie did to Val if Val survived he’s just take it out on Anthony…
@@FrostyFyre She could literally call Lucifer and ask him to nullify the contract. As the RULER of hell,he definitely can. So Val either picks his battles smart or loses.
@@FrostyFyre She kinda already did? To get to speak to heaven, TWICE. And she'd certainly do it if it means protecting a friend. Especially if her father could do it without even hurting anyone by simply annihilating the contract.
Not sure what you have gone through in your past but thanks for being so vulnerable for us. Could not have been easy. Can really see the pain in your eyes. I hope you keep surviving and being an example that things get better
I tried (poorly) to explain this show and this episode to a friend recently, and got a very negative reaction and I've been feeling pretty bad about it since. I'm really glad to hear you explain your emotions in this way. It helped me a lot to better understand what I did wrong and how I could better handle things in the future.
As someone that for sure related to that scene and has REALLY started enjoying your videos, I have gotten help. And I absolutely appreciate how genuinely you seemed to understand that feeling. To anyone out there, I also hope you find a truly safe place to live and heal.
I really appreciate you emptying your heart regarding this topic Amber. It can be tough at times to be vulnerable and I truly respect you showing that side of yourself on camera, as not being afraid to do so. This episode did an amazing job portraying this topic. But there is one small thing we may not see eye to eye on. As a victim of various forms of abuse myself, I as well as many other victims have found successful coping mechanisms through making jokes about these kind of topics. Of course there’s always going to be a time and place to make them, and if someone is uncomfortable with hearing those jokes, then I feel it’s best to respect them. However I can’t stress enough how humor has always been a driving point for how people choose to handle their trauma, and I believe robbing them of that choice could lead to even further pain. Thank you again for your understanding words.
@IAmZamber,you have addressed Angels situation better than I could have myself, its never an easy thing to watch. Its physically and mentally painful when your in such a terrible position like that, and all someone can do to cope is drink,or continue to do what they do in a terrible line of work because they eventually feel like they cant get out or they feel like thats all they are worth, its absolutely heartbreaking. 💔
Thank you so much for sharing this video with us and being so vulnerable and open about what is very clearly a very traumatic experience that you've had. I hope that you are in a much better situation now, and that you can heal from it. You are so strong for being willing to talk about this topic and let people know that things can get better. I hope you have a wonderful day ❤
This episode really affected me with Angels story. I was SOBBING. The way he said he is doing it so he can completely fuck himself up and break himself so he won't be Vals favourite anymore. Goddamn. Also, Poison is a straight bop, but boy is it HEAVY. Husk and Angel Dust are so cute together. I am definitely onboard with their ship. I really want Charlie to fully fuck up Val. We keep seeing hints at her demon form, and I think had Angel not gotten involved, she would've gone full rage mode on Val.
Angel has to go though so much! But atleast he has people on his side who care for him! Also Huskerdust ❤ Their duet was amazing! I know the poisen scenes are controversial, but I think they perfectly portrayed how Angel finds everything uncomfortable but still can't escape it.
I like how they did Husker responding to Dust. He is like “I won’t be your f’ck buddy, but I’ll be your drink buddy”. Not all lustful interests work out, but you can gain a new pal from it.
Your reaction was very touching to me. I personally thought this episode was amazing, it had a few flaws with the tone here and there but as someone who has been in that situation in the past I really could relate to not just what happened but how angel reacted to it specifically. It honestly hit me like a truck just how familiar everything was. I can see how its too much for some people and especially survivors who cant relate to it but for my experience the episode meant a lot to me. Especially the songs omg???? Sometimes, when you are down that bad you can't see what people mean when they say "its okay it'll get better" "just hang in there". Sometimes what you need is for people to be like "yea that's fucked up and its okay that you feel like absolute shit", its recognizing your situation and letting yourself grieve. And on top of all that husk was letting Angel know he wasn't alone, that no matter what they were there for each other. The song was just that perfect mix of hard love and reality and absolute compassion/empathy that helped me in the past and it just made me smile. It reminded me of those that also helped me growing up and it such a bop too. Just absolute props to everyone that worked on it!
We love you so much Zamber. 💜 I was lucky to escape such a position in my life, and I was unfortunately very young and naive. I didn't realize it until it was further down the line. So seeing this scene was extremely hard and yet it was so reassuring in a sense that Hazbin brought it to light as this topic is never really portrayed a lot. And honestly this is why Angel is my favorite. I just always hope anyone who has been in such a position or currently is, knows they're never alone, and that you're loved and have support. 🫶🏻
This is the first time I've ever considered a show to be the greatest of all time, but the character writing is by far the best I've ever seen. And I have no life, so I've seen a lot of shows and movies
When Valentino threw Angel on the sofa, I almost cried because, as someone who experienced that EXACT scenario at age 15, it's horrifying, and awful...
Two of my sisters whom I'm very close to have been in numerous relationships with people who ended up being extremely abusive. One of them ended up being taken far away with her ex and I hadn't seen or heard a thing from her for years upon years before she was finally able to get out of it. All I can really say is I hope I get to see someone rip Valentino's wings off.
i am not usually a very emotional person, but this episode breaks me every single time. i’m actually crying right now. i luckily have never experienced anything like this, and to anyone who has, i am so sincerely sorry and i hope you find help and are able to begin healing from that. but i feel like they covered this so well, they really put it across and showed what a serious issue it really is. and it’s extremely hard to watch, but i think it’s important that people are aware of it and can understand that it’s a very real problem. i’m not really sure what else to say, but please, if anyone needs to talk to someone about anything at all, i am willing to hear you and respond to you in the replies.❤
loser, baby to me just really encapsulates and expresses the idea that it really is okay to not be okay, that we’re not all perfect but we need to help each other through it. it is okay to not be okay, and when you accept that it’s usually easier to begin to heal❤
I cannot overstate just how much I loved this episode. Keith David and Blake Roman were absolutely incredible. This episode deserves all the awards. It was genuinely amazing. If it doesn’t win an Emmy, a BAFTA, an Annie or SOMETHING, I will be so annoyed because it is a genuine masterpiece in tv. The songs were easily my favorite so far. I’m going to listen to the song Loser, Baby on loop so much. Angel Dust and Husk were characters I liked fine enough when I started the show, but now they have skyrocketed to two of my favorites. I am officially a HuskerDust shipper! Also on a side note, fuck Valentino. I hope he gets such a gruesome death later on in the show.
What really hit me is Angel’s fear leading up to the dressing room and his anger after. It shows how manipulative Val is. He has Angel trapped so much that he can direct Angel’s anger at the person trying to help him. Also hearing his voice break from the usual high pitched carefree tone and hearing his real pained voice hits sooooo hard.
This song really broke me. When I watched it I broke down and cried, because I was there. It’s not the same in some ways…but I started getting SA’d when I was a child. It started with family members and then moved to others. It felt like one cruel person replaced another, and looking back from where I am now it was easily 12-15 men and two women. The constant cycle of “I didn’t mean to hurt you. I promise I won’t raise my hand to you again. I promise you just wanted it, that you enjoyed it”, and back and forth to “what’s wrong?! Why are you overreacting? Maybe I wouldn’t have graped you in your sleep if you weren’t so f*cking pathetic.” I cannot stress the power this had over me from age 7 until 4 years ago. It always started with “family always does this.” The mental and physical ab*se was enough to leave me in hospitals. The amount of tears I shed for those who only wanted to use me. It built up this toxic and messed up mental fragmentation that convinced me that I was only good at s*x, that I was only WORTH s*x. I was always asexual, but others had manipulated me into fully believing that I was a s*xual person. Thank you so much for that little bit there where you said that if anyone related to angel dust and that song, it’s okay to not be okay, and it’s okay to get help. I actually cried when you said that, because I felt heard, I felt like my pain matters in some way. Thank you for the sincerity, because it warmed my heart.
I have been obsessed with this show to the point I've watched it 4 times start to current and been watching reactions on TH-cam as well. You're reaction is the first I've seen where I feel like someone actually gets it ya know? I've seen so many reactions but nobody seems to really "get" that scene and it's comforting to see someone get it. You rock. Thank you for this reaction. It's comforting to watch, it's like sharing an experience without actually ever meeting someone.
I've been on the other side of it for a long time now. I cried when I watched this episode but it made me feel seen. I am so glad it is in my past and I survived, but I'm also glad they did such a good job handling this subject..
This is my favorite episode so far and cemented Angel as my favorite character. Also, despite all the emotions, I find it funny how excited you were before the episode and saying you hoped you wouldn't cry haha
It is such a heavy topic to discuss and why I’m thankful that animation can delve into such manners now. Also Keith David singing and swearing at the same time is like honey with spice for my ears. Can’t believe we’re already halfway done with season 1 Hope you’ll have full reaction to just their songs (and the one that the cast from the pilot made in honor of the show’s premiere)
As a male victim of SA, finding ways to deal with it and get away from it, this is very realistic. At least from my own perspective. I tend to deflect and avoid emotions and indulge in vices so I relate a lot to Angel Dust. This episode is one of my favs and Poison is my favorite song in the series. Addict is still a fav of mine even if its a bit older. That part about breaking yourself to look less attractive to your predator is really something that has passed through my own mind a few times. Fortunately, I have good friends and family to help me.
Something I really wanna shout-out is the animation sequence and especially the voice acting especially with Blake like when he said Yes Valentino you just Heard The submissive fear in his voice like and then his performance of poison like he did a hell of a performance and the line of if I'm broken maybe I won't be his favorite toy anymore cause there are some people in a similar or same situation where maybe if they break themselves enough that be enough to free themselves from there own Valentino
Thank you for being so open with your emotions and trusting enough to share with your audience. Trusting enough to be vulnerable on camera and share your experience undoubtedly gave a lot of people insight into just how much of an impact something traumatic like this can be, had they been lucky enough to not have to experience something like it themselves.
I went in to this episode not knowing what to expect and came out very emotional, angels situation is very very similar to what I have gone through, and I appreciate the lesson that I also recently learned of being able to let the walls down and just cope with it all with people that can relate. All in all I really love this episode, despite how horrible some of the themes were
Sending a lot of love to you Zamber. Thank you for your reactions, for your comments and I hope is someone is in this kind of situation get the help you need.

Holy shit I don't think I've ever seen zamber cry..... Even tho I've rewatched this episode so many times, this is the first time I genuinely cried(._.)
You know with how that contract only has Valentino and Angel’s names on it presently, it’s possible that there’s a hidden loophole that the magic or invisible ink has hidden.

I'm only just getting caught up on these reactions as I slowly watch and record my own, but I just wanted to say that your reactions to this series are consistently my favorite ones out of all the ones I'm watching. Especially this one. Thank you.
Yeah I kinda forgot how much of a tough watch ep4 and specifically the poison scene are because I've only seen it once instead of twice because my mom wanted to skip it, this episode is CRAZY
I had to come and check your reaction. This episode was great and it can also be hard to get through. I really respect you taking the time to talk about those scenes. You gave respect to the topic even though it’s hard to talk about it
Gods damn it, Zamber. My heart broke for you, and everyone who has gone through SA, when you reacted to that bit. I am not a survivor myself, but I got goosebumps and I felt the raw emotion that went into that scene. I am an ally, through and through, and I also hope that it opens the eyes of others and make them feel seen. It is a brutal depiction of the victims that work in the porn and sex work industries as well, and I hope that it helps get some eyes on that in the public, too.

Thank you for your video, and understanding of the situation!
I thought it was one of the many things Valentino made Angel film that night. And if it was that, of course he has to smile, he's being watched.
Yeah, he's totally dissociating and the real things are happening on the screens. It's....a lot.
The dance scene can be both disassociation and what Val made him film.
The "glamour" is Angels defense mechanism
He's such a good actor that he puts on a mask to dissociate himself from the pain
Notice how the minute he is no longer on camera or in Val's presence
He breaks down and talks about how he wishes he had something to live for, cause all he has is poison
That last end of the song literally pushes back on any notion that the song was making light of it
There's something really BEAUTIFUL about Loser, Baby, because it does something Charlie can't do for all that she wants to help.
Holy crap, that’s a perfect way of putting it. 👍
I love how honest it really is too. Sometimes it's good to be honest with yourself, it's a first step at getting help.
"I think this is yours..." amazing how one line of dialogue sums up the relationship between three people...
What peak mlm and wlw solidarity looks like
I really appreciate how Zamber has such strong genuine feelings on this subject matter and how well she explained it.
“Masquerades are so fun!!”
Everyone who knows what’s coming: 😬😢🥺
True😂
“Treat you to a fancy restaurant and then take you home at a respectable time” 🤣🤣
Angel Dust deserves so much better than this. That's as good a start as any.
thanks for reposting this comment to every single Hazbin Hotel video about ep 4
Not to mention it's a banger of a song. I have been listening to it non-stop for the last week
Oh you are here. Now we just need to wait for @tatsumisakamai5372 to post his comment about the significance of the way they were bound in Loser Baby
@@TheEnabledDisabledTechnically, they took this one from me.
@@DanGamingFan2406 oh yeah
As hard as this episode was it was nice to see the on screen confirmation of how much Angel really does care about Charlie. Also Charlie messed up but she quickly learned from her mistake so that was nice too. The voice actor for Angel really demonstrated how much emotion he puts into his work in this one.
You don’t need to apologize, you can cry as much as you want
Apparently some people on twitter are mad about this episode because they *dared* to show sexual abuse and how awful it is.
Braindead Twitter users. They don't know how to think.
"I'm filling up my glass but it's always hollow..." Jesus what a line. Trying to fill that void but it's never enough.
Yeah this episode will break some people. There’s a reason they increased the rating and added a trigger warning just for this episode
Poor Anthony
"Hopefully it doesn't make me sad" Oh zamber didn't know...
”Loser” is such a GOOD song! It’s uplifting but doesn’t hold back. I’ve been listening to it nonstop for a week!
full song name is "Loser, Baby"
Imagine Lucifer finds out that Valentino tried to violate his daughter’s arm like that 💀
*and* asked her if she wanted a role, implying he wanted her to work for him. She doesn't have a soul to sell but I'm sure Val could find a way to possess and abuse her anyway. And Lucifer would go ballistic.
Oh we are all pinning that moth to the wall
"They're fucking singin'?!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Husk: 🎵I've got friends on the otherside~🎵
Weeeeellll, it IS a musical
That was one of the funniest moments 😂
I like that knock on the fourth wall, some people complain that musicals are ridiculous because people don't burst out singing in the middle of the street and in this show the characters themselves acknowledge that it is indeed kinda dumb
The way he was fidgeting with his hands when he was on the call with valentino shows how nervous he was... :(
About Velvette...
That’s terrible! I’m so sorry.
Omg Im so sorry, I hope you're better now
Before episode 5 came out this was my favorite episode.
The shitty thing is people on Twitter were claiming this episode promoted SA, cause they are braindead.

It’s gonna be whiplash seeing me crying my eyes out in this episode and then seeing me giddy for Lucifer in the next one 😅❤😂
And thank you for appreciating it! I know it can be a comfortable topic but it’s something really important to me. If I can help anyone and provide a little education, I have too. It’s such a scary world out there but we can all help one another to make it a little safer.

😳 Um… yeah sorry. I even put a comment on your episode 3 reaction saying you’re going to want your plushies nearby to cuddle with because this episode is not easy to watch. That being said it’s my favorite episode of the show so far despite the subject matter.
I watched episodes 3 and 4 together, so i never had a chance lol
@@IAmZamber Okay. Episodes 5 and 6 are really good and a part of this actually ties in with episode 6. It was very cathartic to see.
So what did you do to deserve it?"
That shit was burned into me because I was very young (still an adult, but barely), and I was taken in by these people for a couple weeks as my car was in the shop and my car was my home at the time. Glad I left that city.Wish I could tell them off. What's more dusgusting than what they did and said, is the fact that I believed I was in the wrong for awhile. But I've fucking grown.
9:29 I love who zamber is so emotional in this because I was just like her when I saw that scene
@@jos-josradvanji6203 That just doesn't sound like something Charlie would do, flaunting her power or using her father's power.
@@FrostyFyre She kinda already did? To get to speak to heaven, TWICE. And she'd certainly do it if it means protecting a friend. Especially if her father could do it without even hurting anyone by simply annihilating the contract.
@@jos-josradvanji6203 pretty sure even Lucifer has to abide by Hell’s rules and contracts seem like a pretty set-in-stone kinda thing.
Not sure what you have gone through in your past but thanks for being so vulnerable for us. Could not have been easy. Can really see the pain in your eyes. I hope you keep surviving and being an example that things get better
Did you notice how his body language closed up when he was talking to Valentino on the 'phone?
And his tone of voice
I tried (poorly) to explain this show and this episode to a friend recently, and got a very negative reaction and I've been feeling pretty bad about it since. I'm really glad to hear you explain your emotions in this way. It helped me a lot to better understand what I did wrong and how I could better handle things in the future.
As someone that for sure related to that scene and has REALLY started enjoying your videos, I have gotten help. And I absolutely appreciate how genuinely you seemed to understand that feeling. To anyone out there, I also hope you find a truly safe place to live and heal.
Not only are the lyrics of the songs in this episode insane, the delivery adds a dimension to these songs that reach in and rip out sour soul.
Tbh, if anyone doesn't get angry, sad an/or afraid during this episode, I'm scared of them
Posion such a bop but heartbreaking
I hope you have a wonderful day ❤
I hate how much Poison slaps knowing what Angel is going thru
I was lucky to escape such a position in my life, and I was unfortunately very young and naive. 🫶🏻
seeing you, cry broke my heart. It is a hard scene to watch, but I also think it’s very important. 😢
This is the first time I've ever considered a show to be the greatest of all time, but the character writing is by far the best I've ever seen. And I have no life, so I've seen a lot of shows and movies
This episode and "Poison" are what sold me on Blake roman taking over from Michael Kovach
Blake is breathtakingly talented.
When Valentino threw Angel on the sofa, I almost cried because, as someone who experienced that EXACT scenario at age 15, it's horrifying, and awful...
“Hopefully it’s a great time and it’s good and it’s fun and it doesn’t make me sad.”
Oh, baby…😢
Watching Angel only panics when Charlie is at risk...
"Poison" has NO business being a bop, but it sure is. I'm glad they cover this subject with the seriousness it deserves.
Me, 20 seconds in; oh honey, you think masquerade as in the party? Nah nah nah, it's trauma time.
Girl I sobbed so hard too..I swear I paused like thirty times trying to get through it lol...
“Hopefully its good and its fun and it doesn’t make me sad” The way I gasped out loud and said “Oh hon, not this one”
"Hopefully it's good and it doesn't make me sad."
Well, you're half right.
Can’t believe we’re already halfway done with season 1
Hope you’ll have full reaction to just their songs (and the one that the cast from the pilot made in honor of the show’s premiere)
thank you for being so real and vulnerable on camera for this reaction. hope you’re doing okay
Thank you!!!!
So far I've never seen you cry in a video before and seeing you cry made me cry and just wanna give you a super big hug right now.
Husk gave angle the aggressive kindness that he needed.
The worst part is that Val was based on Viv's ex. She clearly created Val to process what she went through.
You fr? How you know? I never known about that
Can we all agree that this episode is basically a psa of sa?
This episode was a complete roller coaster of emotions... I was in a state of shock for hours
Something I really wanna shout-out is the animation sequence and especially the voice acting especially with Blake like when he said Yes Valentino you just Heard The submissive fear in his voice like and then his performance of poison like he did a hell of a performance and the line of if I'm broken maybe I won't be his favorite toy anymore cause there are some people in a similar or same situation where maybe if they break themselves enough that be enough to free themselves from there own Valentino
thank you for being open about the matter. I appreciate it and I hope you are doing okay after this episode.

I am not a survivor myself, but I got goosebumps and I felt the raw emotion that went into that scene. I am an ally, through and through, and I also hope that it opens the eyes of others and make them feel seen.
