- The purpose of this this day was just for hubby to bring me home. I was only supposed to be accompanied by a few parents and the bridal party, because we basically had a 1 day reception kind of wedding.
But as per the crowd, people in the north do not understand that kind of thing 🙄. We ended up with a full house, AGAIN 🤦🏽♀️.. Serious education needs to happen in the north about these kind of arrangements. Let’s normalize one reception for Oshiwambo weddings please. At least for those that are interested in one reception. Story for another day coz wow!!!! Okay 💆🏽♀️

Main point is planning my brother. Plan plan plan! And by this I mean, give yourselves enough time while in than planning phase to avoid unnecessary pressure.
2. I would say communicate with like never before with your partner. Talk about things before you start carrying them out.
3. Do things within your reach.
4. Involve the elders as much as possible.
