The case you are using with this system, is definitely preventing the Airflow, you should definitely upgrade to something like "on top of mount Everest" kinda stuff for optimal airflow.
i can play every game in this video (except for pubg, idk why) at a constant 60-100 fps on medium-high at 1080p-1440p settings. i play rainbow six siege at very high at 150-200fps on the RX 6400
@@stlrnt_what Actually yeah, 1050 ti could be a better option but the thing is that I have a i5-3470 which I have a strong feeling that it'd bottleneck it. And secondly, the price range at what the GTX 1050 Ti comes in used market is very close to the price of RX 570 6GB model. And GTX 750 ti 2gb costs half of what they both do. I'd definately try to raise my budget and get a better card or pc if possible.

@@kmhindigaming6703 trust me just get the best card u can. if ur going for a budget build, it doesn't matter if u bottleneck that much. btw i have the i5-6600 RX 6400 (which is like 50% better than the GTX 1050 Ti.) and it barely bottlenecks. unless you have a celeron CPU then it doesn't really matter if u bottleneck (again, on a budget build.) if you're going for a premium build though definitely try and go for parts that are good for each other. you're good bro, go ahead and pair the i5-3470 with the GTX 1050 ti. it'll be fine. also like the dude before me said. you won't regret it. even though the 750 ti seems like it performs good in this video, it doesn't mean it will perform as good for you. you're gonna want a card that is better than 750 ti regardless.
oh wow, didn't expect to see my (almost) exact build! same cpu, but on 4.33 ghz same 16 gb ddr3 on 1600 mhz and I had same 650ti from palit but with 2 gb vram i recently upgraded from 650ti to 3050, hehe
You should try using P106 again. The performance is now much better by using it as a GTX 1060 graphic accelerator with Nvidia Master Patcher compared to the old registry hack.
hey kryzzp! you can add some much older popular games like far cry etc instead of newer intensive ones like rdr2 or cyberpunk which is probably expected to be unplayable on these cards.
This card reminds me of my old Alienware laptop I used to play on years ago. It had a GT 750M, which was on par with a GTX 650/650ti in performance. Most games ran good, until around early 2016ish. I had to play Bo3 zombies at 50% res scale of 1366x768. It wasn't a pleasant picture to look at, that's all I'll say.

Nice video. I have a similar system with a GTX 970. I got a good performance increase with 2133mhz DDR3 and deep cool 120mm CPU cooler to increase the OC. I know you focus on GPU comparison but you may find it interesting to test with a little more "K".
bad price for an outdated card, sorry mate :( go for something with 4gb minimum, hence if it is a 4gb version of an gtx 760 (you can oc it to 1050ti levels, but stay away from 2gb versions) cheers
neat you mentioned battlefield 3 , i recall using a gtx 660 playing bf3 in story mode and seeing 107 fps average on msi afterburner with my i5 2500k system i was using with it , kepler was neat back then , i also recall the evga 650 ti models were the first gpus that popular standard small form factor the 750ti and 1050ti followed the same size and design minus the 6 pin of course lol

I have a 2012 MacBook Pro with a 650 but I see that the Ti version has twice the CUDA cores over the non Ti so this is still a lot more powerful than the old MacBook. Compared to the 2009 MacBook with 9600 GT or even the 2010 with 330M it is a lot more powerful though. The 2011 with AMD 6000 series has a tendency to burn up and die due to a defect in the GPU so it doesn’t count. You can still play some older games. I got 100fps at 1050p maximum on the 2012 MBP. That might not seem that impressive but my desktop PC with a 6 core Phenom and GTX 660 got less. Oblivion is very CPU demanding But only on one core. The Ivy Bridge CPU is much faster than a Phenom. I’ve noticed that Oblivion is very difficult to run even at 60fps for any CPU until at least 5 years after the game came out. I tried it with the fastest CPU at the time of release and 60fps was impossible it was closer to 30.
Entry-level, makes me think GT 640, which decimates a GeForce 9500 GT from 2008, which the GeForce 9500 GT was mostly only good for games at 768p. :( At least, the GeForce 9500 GT was good for the first Far Cry. The GeForce 9500 GT was more suited for 2004-2005 games, it seemed, even when from 2008. Even though it may be able to squeak by with 2006-2007 games. I was thinking that the GTX 650/Ti was a glorified GT 640. (The GT 640 doesn't even have an external PCI-E connector) I'm surprised how well the GTX 650 did! Even though it's a Ti.

this was my first video card i bought, i wanted to play mechwarrior online (as it had just launched) with a reasonable frame rate.. lol and it definately helped! i remember before installing the card the igpu on my phenom 2 quadcore was about 15 or 20fps, and after installing the card it jumped up quite significantly i think it was only around 40 -50fps tbh, but it was double than what i had so it felt like night and day! good times

sons of the forrest has CPU-lag issues. I get the same stutters on my 3070 with a 6700K @4.6ghz, maybe it does not like 4C, CPU's or it just shit in terms of optimization. You can see in your recording that when the big stutters come, the CPU is topping out at 90%. Maybe texture and geometry streaming problems.
i am still have some comparable for my small internet cafe. Still using it. gtx 650, Radeon 6850, GTX 460, even Radeon 5770. i want to upgrade but my customer keep playing old games like pointblank, gta v, dota 2, world of warship. So, i think these old gpu no need to upgrade as long as my customer are not playing new ones like intensivve game for dx 12.
one question: i have an amd phenom II x4 620 and 12GB ddr3 1333 mhz i can run forza horizon 4 on 800x600 or 720p in lowest settings? (beacouse i now have a quadro fx580 (512mb vram) and when i run it the cpu usage is at 10%)
It's crazy that 1GB VRAM was the standard a decade ago, and now 4GB is the minimum you need to play most new games (but 6GB is probably better)

I believe he uses open air and the stock cooler for the I7-4770k despite overclocking it. Might explain the high temps.

Got a 2GB version of this card. Days Gone with medium settings makes 30-40 FPS. That was a very good video card in his prime.

An OC-ed 650ti performs like the 750ti but it uses a lot more power and thus creates more heat and noise. But back then it was a really good offer!

I play on a GTX 550 ti in 2023 and honestly? It's still pretty good for the games I play (Roblox, Minecraft, Source games etc.)
