This is really true, scholars have different opinions in one topic and these things confuse people. Lots of people don’t understand what to follow. Actually We should read Quran and Hadith ourselves and use our own brain given by Allah taa’la.

@@allahtak Not true at all...only Quran and Hadees isn't enough, but one needs the I'lm of A'qayid as the standard to compare with. If a firqa has wrong belief-line, reject it forth with.
@@SyedAhmed-hc5vm Obviously, every Muslim has a belief-line "Aqida" to begin with, and later after self-studying, exchanging thoughts with scholars and deep contemplation one reaches a conclusion.
Regarding your question that Quran & Hadith isn't enough:
How people can differentiate between right and wrong, if they haven't educated themselves?
Ustad Nouman is not saying that reject all belief-lines "aqeeda" mindlessly, he is saying that study Quran and Hadith yourself, so others cannot brainwash you to believe in things that go against the true spirit of Islam.

In aqidah yes you cannot “follow” other scholars blindly but rather use your own rationale because blind faith is looked down upon in Islam infact some older scholars went even as far as to say that blind faith or imaan e muqallid is not true faith at all and the person isn’t muslim.
But when it comes to fiqh you DO have to follow one of the 4 schools because there is an Ijma (consensus) of scholars that one should follow one of these schools because not everyone has the capability and the time to go through each and every fiqhi matter by reading complete Quran and all of the hadith related to it, and that whether it is weak or strong etc.
And in this matter there are no confusions either because all four of schools believe that each and every one of them is on the right path contrary to the different sects who believe others besides them are heretics

Ustad nomman has raised a question, which firqa he should join.
As a Quran teacher he knows very well that the sects do come up as the result of giving wrong interpretations to AAYAAT-E-MUTASHABIHAAT.
So his question which firqa he should join becomes absurd.
All firqas are in the hell except MA ANA A'LAIHI WA ASHABI....that is Ahlassunnah wa jamaa'h; but Ustad tried to identifiy himself with dude engineer Mohammed A'li Jehlumi, so poor is his identification.
Ustad Noman follows Dr. Asrar Ahmed, but Asrar takes Ismay'eel Dehlavi as "SHAHEED", though Ismay'eel was SHAHEED-E-LYLA-E-NAJD, for Muslim Pathans of NWFP killed him and his whole army because they had no regard for the three rights of Muslims...............
(I) Their life (ii) their sustenance (iii) their honor.....The army of Ismay'eel did DESTROY all with the Pathans, so all got drilled their foreheads...how could they be shaheed, killed by muslims? They were very Ghayoor Pathans, but their offspring pathans are mostly wahabi deobandis, a new firqa created by turtons and burtons, while they ruled Undivided India.
You may have some knowledge about general aspects of history, however you are no one to decide the faith of a fellow Muslim, that is due on Allah ! You can present your arguments, disagreements but there is so much hate in your comment ! Brother, don't give the jahannum ticket to Allah's creation yourself.

Hazrat Uqbah Bin Amir Razi Allahu anhu se Riwayat hai ke Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne Hazrat Umar Razi Allahu anhu ke baare me farmaya:
“Mere baad agar kisi ka Nabi Banna Muqaddar hota to wo Umar Bin Khattab hote.”
(Sunan Tirmizi Hadees No 3686)
