I'm addicted to simi ji.... I watch atleast 2 interviews per day ... I wish I have her voice which is soothing to my ears.... I never saw her interrupting while others are speaking... Her questions make us think ... I'm sure no one can do another program like this with elegance and and beautiful like her... She will always be my favourite... My role model... Watched Sanju the film and your interview with him have brought tears in the eyes. Sanjay Dutt the gullible free spirited kind hearted person who got lost in his teens like any other teenager. Sunil Dutt and Priya hold on to the reins in a family that couldn’t see love and togetherness.To lose their mom at an early age was an emotional setback. These actors are smiling onscreen to make the world happy and the world sometimes isn’t fair enough to reciprocate. Our judgements on these personalities are solely based on Pages of Tabloids, the merchants of masala news.

Some haters are saying Sanju story is fake, but i believe it. I've seen multiple interviews & the story syncs everytime. There's a genuineness in it every time Sanjay Dutt recites it. He's been through a lot & it shows. I'm glad Sanju is finally enjoying some peace in his life. :)

I feel he is very lucky... The kind of cases he was involved and they way he was dealing his life, if his father was not an influential person, if he was not rich, sanjay dutt would have been doomed. Imagine people out there with drug issues, who cant help themselves, who cant cope up and end up tragically... People who involve with dons and mafia, who end up in jails, no bails, no justice, for what they have done they spend rest of the life either in dark or in jail... Sanjay dutt is extremely lucky to have father like sunil dutt and such family.

You are the most gracious and eloquent host in the whole wide world, Simi! I have seen so may episodes of this show, both old and new and you have always managed to bring a smile on my face. You penetrate deep down into the personalities of people you interview, bringing the most untouched emotions on the front, without making them feel uncomfortable. You are a role model in your field to so many people like me. I was looking up for more information about you on the internet and I learnt that you were born in Muktsar, which happens to be my birth place too! Well , i lost my sleep since i watched the 1st video of your channel , and now watching one after another ... and wondering how did i missed such an amazing and beautiful channel , your way of talking , the patience , the elegance and these people you have interviewed back than , i just love them the OLD Stars , Legends , veterans , though i'm a late 90's Kid but i'm just madly in love with the stars that belongs to the last century , always searching old movies on Google and then watching them here on youtube , that's all i do ... and now i have discovered your channel where i'm able to see my favorite people from the past century and getting to know such things about them that i've never known before .

While it’s his destiny - to survive till the time he can - but watching this pristine interview- the title song from Zinda - plays in my head - if this guy overcomes or has a miraculous extended escape - he is hands down the most realistic real star - doesn’t asked to be praised - never has ! Wishing him a recovery to a point where he sees the teenage of his younger kids ! If death is the peace he is seeking than so be it ~ but let life be the gift he always seeks ! "I am the chosen One" statement and his faith on God, were really outstanding take aways of this interview (out of many). He was lucky to have some or other women around to take care of him. Life being very tough for him . His life story is an inspiration of every age person. It teaches and also inspires us to live a life even after facing any type of failure , loss or tragedy.
Unless one humbles oneself one can not grow high in life.

I learned more about Sanjay Dutt from watching this 30 minute interview than the 155 minutes biopic 'Sanju'!! Richa, Rhea, Trishala, Priya were ALL missing in the film! His wives! His daughter! His sister! Can you imagine?! These are such important relationships. Why were they ignored by Hirani like they did not exist? Wonder what his daughter feels about it. Simi managed to covered everyone in this rendezvous. Thank you Simi Garewal for showing us the true story of Sanjay Dutt in this awesome interview. Salute you!!!

But rather than exposing his personal relationships, the movie’s intention was to shed light on his drug addiction and terror alignments he was accused of, which was so much needed. Someone like me would have never been able to see his side of his story until the movie. My respect towards Sanjay has increased tremendously after watching the movie. I just want to give him a big “jaadu ki jhappi “
I was very surprised at all the new information about Sanjay in this interview - the movie was great, but I never knew about his first wife & his daughter from the film. I wonder what it would have been like if they'd made 2 films!
Sorry to say you are wrong. It says clearly in all promotions that Sanju is a 'biographical film'. Biography mean "a life story". You are not being true to his life if you delete important milestones. Marriage is a milestone. The birth of his daughter is important. What must she feel when she sees it? That she does not exist? From what I hear his wife Maanyata would not allow any other woman to be featured except herself & his mother.
Why make two films? If Simi could pack in everything in one hour - why could not Hirani? Instead of going on & on & on about drugs..& flowers..he should have completed his full story.

The biopic I feel didn’t do justice in my opinion as there were many life moments that weren’t mentioned especially his relationship with Richa as it showed a very important moment of his life

I’ve never really been a big fan of Sanju dad mr Sunil Dutt but over the years and little bit of research I’ve noticed not a single person I’ve come across has had anything bad to say about mr Sunil Dutt not one person and when I looked into it more I realised he was a great human being aswell so as the saying goes don’t judge a book by its cover.
It reminds me of my dad god bless his soul straight as an arrow no lying no cheating or anything else that could hurt or upset someone really my father and mr Sunil Dutt were really great people who come along every now and then.

I agree. Sanjay only mistake was he didn’t maintain discrete privacy in the face of media. The other actors who intakes drugs are all well known by managers and family and they let them do in privacy.

In 1993 there were 12 bomb blasts in Mumbai and 500-600 people lost their lives. Sanjay’s abandoned car was found at one of these blast sites and was full of weapons. In India no civilians can get these assault weapons. Therefore they started investigating him.
I was a small girl that time but I remember that day like yesterday! Everyone wanted to punish terrorists behind that attack. I don’t know if he is victim or culprit but he definitely got involved with wrong people. Either way it’s Sad for him and his family, and people who got killed in 1993.
