The blister reminded me of when I had to bust out some concrete with a sledge hammer, I didn’t have gloves on and by the end of the day I had so many blisters they were literally bleeding and running down my hand. Anyway I wanted to check how the track is holding up. I am wondering if you could mix plain Portland cement with with a top layer that way it would be closer to pavement also keep weeds from growing up and make it skateable possibly. And did you have any water issues with it being so close to your house?
How did this go when there was rain? I’m about to build one near my house in some bush but with winter approaching where I am I am wondering how it stays together
wouldnt it be cheaper to buy a truckload of dirt rather than renting a machine at 150-200$ a day? trying to figure out which would be a better plan, have the use of the machine or buy nice fill dirt and just spread by hand.
Agreed. Unless you have the acreage. Also property drainage could cause issues. I have about 1/4 acre backyard. Over last few days since I was inspired to build one for my toddler, I decided to go with trucking in a tri axle of top soil. Cost about the same and way easier to shape.
Great video this inspired me to build a nice and simple pump track I didn’t have to watch gmbn this time you did a splendid job
You got something against GMBN??
Me 2 I’m bored I’m building an pump track in my backyard as well
This looks like too much fun. And it is so nice when parents ride where their kids can keep an eye on them.
No one talking about how adorable the little guy is
Well done sir.
Thank you!
Excellent adventure putting the hard yards in!!!
Thanks for the inspiration. My 4 year old will love it and fortunately mom used to BMX so she’s totally on board 😁Well done 🤘🇨🇦
He's not rocking. He's practicing his pump 👍😁

Thank you for the help. Starting my track this weekend. :-)
Mad props, made me realize I don't have enough time or energy for this :)

Simple. Own house with yard. Dig til it feels right and the way you want. Enjoy
I've got 4 acres.. is that enough?
Definitely

Is it ok to not separate the grass from the soil you used to make the rollers and berms?
