      Hello John
      Hope you can help.
      I have one of these roller doors, but how do you adjust the stop positions, so it does keep rotating when it hits the top or bottom?

    JUST TO SAY on fitting a replacement unit to the manufacturer's instruction's they are a bit hit and miss they dont tell you about the hidden switch to left just beneath the transmitter board all you have to do is pull out seeing three pins but then putting it back so it only shows one pin at the bottom this in conjunction with the photo beam will allow the door come down in auto mode.😄

    All I need now is to turn my woodwork shop back into a garage and buy a roller door to go with the controller! 👍😉

    Auto close function only works after you remove the small black flat pin situated in top left corner inside unit Removed it will then work automatically up and down as opposed to only up

      Unless you have additional safety devices fitted your not supposed to have it on one press to close as the door will not know if something is in the way, like a child or a pet - it will just keep going.

    HI there, I moved into a property that has this product. I purchased EACHEN Smart Garage Door Controller for this so I could open it via my phone or Alexa. Turns out this is a multi-channel controller - and most of these smart connectors are single channel. Can you (or anyone reading) recommend a similar product I can buy to attach to this so I can achieve this? Be very grateful

    • @ToTheGarage
      @ToTheGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Paul. Phone control Sounds very interesting🤔
      Unfortunately im not quite tech enough to help out here, but I hope someone reading this is. Because I want to know too👍👍

    • @rocodoors
      @rocodoors 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Door must have additional safeties if operation via GSM or Bluetooth is possible - you could be closing the door onto someone and not know causing entrapment/crush hazard.
      Most 'smart' controllers only send a pulse and as this unit is set to dead-man mode (press and hold) it would need a constant signal e.g timer relay to the down switch.

    great Video, very helpful , do yoy know what he other potentiometer adjusts my instructions dont make sense

    • @rocodoors
      @rocodoors 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a run timer. Turn it all the way to its minimal position and you'll find that the door will only run for so long before stopping.
      Keep increasing the potentiometer until the door can run fully and stop on its own limit.
      This is an extra safety feature to help prevent the door from running too long if it ever goes past the motors limit position.

    • @rocodoors

      I'm a garage door manufacturer and installer.
      I'm assuming you have the additional 'light-guard' kit that goes with this controller (2 black coloured rails attached to the door tracks going into a smaller black box that is then wired into this grey controller)
      You can't disable this feature I'm afraid, just move whatever is in the way of the beams (the 2 black rails) or turn it off at the wall is the only suggestion sorry.
