Itachi is the best character in the naruto franchise because he is not just a shinobi, he is also a teacher full of wisdom whom has sacrificed his entire life for the sake of his village, clan and brother. From what my peers told me, before he killed everyone, he has used his visual prowess to show everyone the possible outcomes of the future, including his love life. He has taught me that hatred will keep me more in the dark and that peace is worth dying for for the sake of people that is precious to you. He is wise about life and how it should function. I also understand sasukes view point about losing everything, including a beloved brother. Overall, if people are wise enough to think of the possible outcomes of life, then this world that we live in would be free from war, no matter the difference. Itachi also lied so much to people to keep them safe from harm, in which I respect. He is a formidable shinobi who was brought wisdom, sadness, kindness and happiness. ITACHI IS NEVER DEAD
Itachi is someone that, upon seeing the oppression of the clan at the hands of the village, decided that he would commit wholesale mass murder in order to preserve the rule of a genocidal administration. The ethical thing for Itachi to do would have been to side with the clan, because a civil war to combat an unjust government is a war worth fighting. Not to mention that between Shisui and Itachi, they had the power and genjutsu prowess to win the war against Konoha before it even began. Itachi’s failings in this regard aren’t even the entire picture of his misdeeds. Every other action he took past the massacre can be summed up as the choices of an obsessive psychopathic brocon with a martyr complex. Psychologically torturing Sasuke on numerous occasions to instill hatred is not the type of thing a good brother does. But it is the type of thing a man would do if he cared more about completing a narrative he constructed in his own head irrespective of reality. This is a well designed AMV, but it doesn't change the fact that Itachi was a terrible person. He fetishizes peace to such a degree that he's willing to preserve immoral power structures even when from an ethical perspective war is the preferable option.
Shadow Motive Except Shisui's Kotoamatsukami is an instant slave jutsu. Itachi or Shisui himself could have just 'reported' to the Hokage and used it to force the Hokage to address the Uchiha's legitimate grievances. It is a one-shot instant victory in terms of any political negotiations because it forces your opposition to unconditionally accept your demands as long as they fit the vague general principle that was given. "Deal fairly with the Uchiha" could spur a host of policies that abolished the unjust discrimination the clan faced and provide an avenue that rehabilitates them with the Konoha government like every other clan has been. But this might not be possible. If we assume that both of Shisui's Kotomatsukami were used before and so neither eye could be used to solve the coup (unlikely given that Shisui wanted to use his eyes to enslave the Uchiha leadership), Itachi still should have fought and died for the Uchiha rather than slaughtering the clan to preserve an immoral power structure. Even a doomed war against a corrupt authority is preferable from an ethical perspective than carrying out unjust massacres to preserve its authority. An Uchiha revolt against Konoha might have lost. But even if the Uchiha lost, either other countries would destroy Konoha (removing a corrupt government), or the Konoha government would have had to acknowledge that their policies were wrong and that those policies could never be applied to other clans because of the risk of rebellion.
Itachi had the saddest life in the whole anime . His life was all about killing, he begun with slaughtering his own clan under the orders of the leaf commanders but also integrated the akatsuki as a double agent spy in order to protect the leaf once again and to prevent any harm to his brother . I admire him , I think he's truly a hero !
Samy_06 Most uchihas stories are extremely tragic i think obito story is super sad too. I kinda hate kishi for making side characters more interesting, epic, well written than the main ones - example sasuke - Unintresting emo kid. While Jairya, 4th, 1th, madara, obito, gai, itachi, kisame, pain, kakashi etc, were so intresting and left overshadowed, by shallow "main characters". And the rushed ending sucked so much, im sad that these series were killed quality-wise by the author who became boring of drawing, writing it, so he just quit asap, with lots of stupid power-ups out of the blue and "no-plot" jutsu'. Heh i wish... These series would have been so much better with no "real" main character and more side characters developed and searching for their answers and actually being meaningful in the end.
Asofe17 actually , the uchiha is a clan cursed by hatred , every uchiha is supposed to live a somehow painful life in order to gain power . So , basically , an uchiha is a normal shinobi unless he experiences something tragic and painful , only then his true potential would awaken . But , the uchiha are generally skilled even without sharingan , itachi was at the anbu when he was only 11 when a normal shinobi is still genin at 11 or chunin . Sasuke also was powerful as a kid , just like kakashi he always wanted to do everything on his own , rarely relying on his comrades .

Ive read a lot of books, comics and seen a lot of anime and movies. Itachi has to be the best fictional character/story out of them all. He not only is badass and brave beyond belief but he also wasnt perfect and admited he made mistakes. He was the best.
Itachi was a true Shinobi. Had he been given the chance he would’ve made an amazing hokage. He didn’t care about fame of recognition or acceptance even, all he cared for was the safety of his home and little brother, for peace. If that doesn’t spell hero then I don’t know what does. +XItachiSamaX although i quite enjoy this amv, i feel that i still haven't found the one itachi amv that really hits the nail on the head... my opinion (take with a grain of salt if you wish) but i really enjoy the way chrispin freeman voices itachi.. the way his voice sounds so reserved and empty i feel english may have been a better choice if using itachi qoutes.. also this song is better than others ive heard but still i feel that its not quite portraying itachi correctly... others have used songs that include lyrics, i liked with yours the songs didnt and i feel that for itachi it should be like his theme song in the anime but aside from my opinion which at the end of the day is just that.... pretty good :)

This video is 8 years old now. I remember finding it a few years ago being fascinated with Itachi. My interest for Naruto has been present on and off in my life, and I recently came back to thinking about these series... Always a pleasure to see this AMV... Unforgettable. It made me cry! We don't realize how much Itachi has sacrificed until you see it all played out like this. No one seems to get the fact out of all of the heroes in the show Itachi is the one who did the most and sacrificed everything to do it. He gave up everything his childhood, his family, his honor, his friends, his heart all for Sasuke. No one can compare to that.
I'm a Sasuke and Itachi fan and their story is what I love the most in this manga and anime and this amv just brought me to tears. This is superb! What a great resume.

+XItachiSamaX although i quite enjoy this amv, i feel that i still haven't found the one itachi amv that really hits the nail on the head... my opinion (take with a grain of salt if you wish) but i really enjoy the way chrispin freeman voices itachi.. the way his voice sounds so reserved and empty i feel english may have been a better choice if using itachi qoutes.. also this song is better than others ive heard but still i feel that its not quite portraying itachi correctly... others have used songs that include lyrics, i liked with yours the songs didnt and i feel that for itachi it should be like his theme song in the anime but aside from my opinion which at the end of the day is just that.... pretty good :)

This video is 8 years old now. I remember finding it a few years ago being fascinated with Itachi. My interest for Naruto has been present on and off in my life, and I recently came back to thinking about these series... Always a pleasure to see this AMV... Unforgettable. Great work & thank you for that.
It made me cry! We don't realize how much Itachi has sacrificed until you see it all played out like this. No one seems to get the fact out of all of the heroes in the show Itachi is the one who did the most and sacrificed everything to do it. He gave up everything his childhood, his family, his honor, his friends, his heart all for Sasuke. No one can compare to that.
And all a man has is his honor and dignity and the children he bring in world and if he lucky parents brought him into it and he didnt even get that
God I can't even look at this video's thumbnail in my playlist without wanting to cry 😢
