Thank you so much, Sara!! It means a lot to hear 🥹❤️ Hmm, that's an interesting question. I guess I don't get burned out because I consider making these videos as a part of my job/business. Running this TH-cam channel, my shop, Patreon and Instagram is my full-time job and I'm so grateful that it has somehow worked out for me. I'm also lucky to have experienced the regular 9-5 (I worked in a company for about 2 years before moving to Japan and starting to do this art stuff full time) so I know what the other option would be, and I know that I prefer what I have now by far 😂 I do get tired and unmotivated sometimes (as you would with any job) and I don't paint or draw on my free time anymore, but for the most part, the positives are so much greater that it's hard to complain. :) Things will probably change once we start to consider having children but until then I hope I'll be able to continue what I do!

Oh, watching you write MAY gave me instant flashbacks. I used to do calligraphy. It's so long ago now that I can barely remember I did it at all. I recently found my old high school notebook of various artsy things. Sigh. Watching you drawing that tiger and those leaves/flowers made my hands phantom ache!
Ohhh I wish you will, some day, have a change to pick those hobbies back up again and see that the skill is still in there, even though you might need to dig for it in the beginning 😊
This is absolutely gorgeous😍 It's very telling to me that at this point you are inspired by some of your previous themes, and I can't decide whether I like this one or your old February theme better. You are so talented and one of my biggest inspirations for my own bujo. Beautiful theme as always
Haha thank you so much and you're absolutely right! 😄 I've created so many themes that I had way more ideas for than what I was able to include in the themes/videos, so I feel like if enough time passes, I might be able to repurpose some of those ideas in a slightly modified way. The February one also seems to be many peoples favorite so I felt like recreating something similar might make many of my older viewers happy! 😊
Wow that's a REALLY difficult question! 😄 It's almost like comparing apples with oranges, it really depends on the style and painting exprience you prefer. Gouache creates a pigmented, smooth surface and you're able to paint over the previous work to hide your mistakes. I find it a little bit more relaxing but also a more time consuming painting method. Blending different color smoothly together is quite difficult though. Watercoloring allows you to create beautiful color washes and more textures. You're also able to color on top of linework if that's something you like doing. But if I'd be forced to answer, I'd probably say that gouache is a little bit more versitile, because you can use them on almost any paper or other canvases, even wood, rock and so on. Also, if you lighten the paints a lot with water, they behave almost like watercolors, though they're still not as smooth and easy to work with.

Your pages and flowers look great, only the tiger on the openingpage is missing a piece of belly and his left backpaw😅. But it still looks amazing. I truely love the work with the black background ❤.
Awwww I know 😂 The back leg actually didn't show in the picture I was using as a reference either (it was in the shadow) so I first forgot to draw it and then just tunnel brained to the rest of the page and never did it before coloring the area black 🫠
