The average worker has lost roughly $15 per hour worth of purchasing power after accounting for inflation. If you were earning that 24.79 at the start of his presidency, anything short of $45 per hour is a demotion. Is that all his fault? No it is not, will that matter? Nope. Does it make Democrats sound incredibly tone deaf when they try to say the economy is doing well? Yes it does.
