i rolled my eyes when P’Sam said, “I just can’t be with someone I can’t trust” then years passed he break Earth’s trust by sleeping with Stud. The audacity 😶
I'm getting a theory on this whole Stud, Earth Sam dynamic. I think Stud, despite his playboy ways, has always had an eye for Earth, but didn't think it was possible. Then they had that drunken kiss and realized that it was possible, but he had to get Earth to accept being gay and his feelings. And even after their fight, Stud still expected to Earth to come to terms with himself and discover his love for Stud in the process, but incidentally (and unfortunately for Stud) Earth met Sam and that's who motivated him (Earth) to accept himself and discover, leaving a heartbroken Stud in the dust. And as the years passed by, Stud eventually became friends with Earth, not just as a consolation, but as a way to monitor his relationship with Sam, waiting for the day Earth would finally love him back. And after he saw the many cracks in their relationship, but still not EarthSam breakup, he decided to interfere and break those ties himself by seducing Sam. (I don't think he really wanted Sam, I just think he wanted to prove Sam was unworthy, and finally get rid of him even if it meant he had to do it himself). Stud probably thought he could minimize his damages. He thought he could get Sam to break up with Earth out of guilt (which would make Stud less of a bad guy). He probably also thought he could parley his friendship with Earth into receiving forgiveness, and getting the eventually love he was seeking from Earth, but his plans failed. He kept trying to get Sam to dwell on that night, and also to tell Earth about their tryst, but Sam decided to bury it in the archives, and blew that off. And in desperation, at his own birthday party, he told Sam he liked him, and Sam still refused to leave Earth, leaving Stud with a guilty secret he hated keeping, but couldn't tell. And then Earth found out, and it completely wrecked Stud's universe, because now he was stuck as the bad guy: a homewrecker and a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaallly bad friend, with all hope of Earth, vanishing by the heartbeat. Even his last ditched attempt at on the job self sacrifice, didn't work since Earth also ending up leaving the job himself. And to add insult to injury; Earth decided to put "ho before bro," leaving Stud no chance to even get back in. So let's see how this season pans out.
This is making me get over the worries of Fridays and the weekends. The characters are really really AMAZING!!! NAMTAN IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL.

When Earth keeps bringing up Sam’s cheating past, you know he has never truly forgiven him. That’s how it is when you go back to your cheating partner, usually.
Because the pain is still raw and you may forgive them but your brain doesn’t let you forget easily . sometimes you just don’t want them to forget how much pain they have caused you.
From someone who has experienced the exact same thing, the relationship will never be the same. One day you forgot about it, and another you’d remember it like it was fresh. Its a hell of a rollercoaster when the trust is broken. I don’t know how it’d end for sam and earth but i’m sure like me, earth would lose his feelings for sam entirely.
People sometimes make a mistake. No body perfect. What Sam did is unforgettable but giving him forgiveness can heal the wound in Earth heart and give him peaceful. Mistakes are also the journey of everyone's life.
The lunch scene with Earth and Sam was one of the nicest bits of this series I've seen so far. But my goodness, one really has to concentrate how the story flicks from the past to the present all the time to follow it properly.

Earth answering Sam's question not even a couple days after Boom and him become a couple: No one. I'm not dating a single person. Absolutely no one. Nope.
