imo a lot of underground rappers are underground for a reason. their sound wouldn’t be understood by the mainstream audiences. for example someone like izaya tiji, a lot of people just wouldnt get it. a lot of these artist will remain underground unless they find a way to appeal to a broader audience.
There should be a platform for up and coming artists. Better than soundcloud like a bit more curated and built to support and get more exposure to these guys, link them and their teams up with producers and more established artists
