Caught 3 gp 38s hauling cars of Whitestone marble rock towards Atlanta. locomotives are patriot rail 3805 GP38-3 GNRR 9706 GP38 COLUMBIA AND COWLITZ 3110 GP38-2
The track runs north from Marietta ga to mcCaysville ga. They run freight only from Marietta to below ellijay. Above ellijay in blueridge the run the blueridge scenic railway or at least they did. 60 or 70 miles of freight. The scenic thing is like 10 miles i don't know for sure. Csx abandoned it in the 80s because its real curvy and steep in parts. I try to film one every time I can.
