Driving in around Bouctouche on a nice spring day. Bouctouche is North of Moncton and the East Coast of NB. It was established in 1785. Bouctouche was originally named Tjipogtotjg (pronounced Chebooktoosk), a Mi'kmaq word meaning "Great Little Harbour". It's located at the mouth of the Bouctouche River. The Bouctouche Dunes are very popular, as is the Le Pays de la Sagouine is a reenactment of the Acadian culture and is both entertaining and historic for viewers. A very popular tourist attraction.
