A truly amazing concert Jonathan. I loved your Fantasy Toccata and the Saint Saens sent shivers down my spine. It was magnificent. How I would love to hear these at a venue. The sound must be awesome. Thank you Tom for sound and wonderful visuals. Hope to see you in concert again real soon with Jonathan 😀😀
It always amazes me how well the sound of these organs are captured in your videos!!! I'm not a sound engineer but I have a good system to listen to music such as this and the sound quality is quite astonishing IMHO. Well done on that front!! Thank you Jonathan for sharing your fantastic talent with the world, and your comments in between the music adds so much to the presentation overall and is very much appreciated!!
Thank you, thank you for sharing your remarkable talent! As well, thank you for teachings and explanations. I always come away from these concerts having not only been entertained but enlightened. Thank you!

Wonderful concert on an organ in my home town. Combination of music and pictures astounding, making it a true delight. Extremely professionally done. What a talented musician - I reckon the organ is one of the hardest instruments to play.
Thanks, Jonathan, for that wonderful performance - brilliant as usual - and to your brother for his work behind the scenes, to create a most enjoyable experience, second only to being there in person.
Jonathan!! Your Fantasy Tocatta is absolutely superb! And what a wonderful way to show off that fat 32' reed! I enjoyed the intricacies and urgency of the piece and the subtleties throughout, it put me in mind of so many different pieces of old, Boellman's Toccata from Suite Gothique being just one. I'll be seeking the score out to buy and have a crack at. Thank you for sharing this :-)
Just incredible. A tour de force! What a treat! Expertly and engagingly presented from the bench with creative, eye-catching camera work. Hail to the organ whose preeminency is there for all to see - by far the best medium and conduit for music in these topsy turvy times. Brilliant, highly appealing programme. Playing of the first water. One of the musical highlights of 2020. We need more. Can't wait!
Brilliant as ever! As a child, my family would several times a year go past "The Crooked Spire" on our way to our Grandparents house in Chorlton-Cum-Hardy, Manchester. It was nice to finally see inside the church!
This is going to be a spectacular concert - Jonathan at his best. He is after all the greatest organist of our time. I am so happy to see he's going to play his Fantasy -Toccata.
I’ve been really looking forward to this, Jonathan! I am so pleased you began with the great Handel! I listen to Handel all the time: instrumental, oratorios, organs, pastoral, you name it, I love them all. You are a wonderful musician, Jonathan, and an excellent speaker. Thank you.
This appears to be the best program for an online scottbrothersduo concert I have seen so far- and played on a wonderful organ as well. I got very excited when I saw Jonathan's Fantasy-Toccata on there- it is one of my favourite organ works and is very underplayed in my opinion.
Bravo! Maestro, that Jonathan was the most fantastic concert yet as far as I am concerned. Brilliantly played with brilliant transcriptions, and arrangements your own fantastic toccata as you say so French in style, I can hear Louis Vierne, and Henri Mulet clapping furiously applauding it ! Not only that but congratulations go to the current custodian organ builders of this absolutely wonderful instrument. As an ex organ builder I can say hand on heart this is one of the very best sounding instruments in this country, beautifully voiced and tuned and all working perfectly by the sound of it. T C Lewis was a fine organ builder, and unfortunately is less well known than his contemporary, Father Willis. But his voicing in this instrument is as good as any that I have heard . The Solo reeds ( tubas I presume) in the opening Hornpipe from the Water Music, sound wonderful, as do the reeds throughout the instrument. All in all this is the best organ concert of this season. Thank you and your brother Tom for bringing us this.
Wonderful Concert. You are an Amazing Musician and Organist. You always bring out the best in every Organ you play. Brilliant playing as always and an Awesome sound on this Excellent T C Lewis. Hope to see you perform live again in the not distant future. All the Best for the future.
Another wonderful recital. A big thankyou for being so amazing in such difficult times. Something else that would be great/fascinating is if amazing brother Tom could make a video about how he produces the technical side of these marvellous productions - the man's a genius!
We are so lucky to be able to experience these concerts by such a wonderful organist on some of the great organs of the late 19th and early 20th centuries! Thanks so much!
Wow! Finally, not only a superlative instrument, but a hugely accomplished organist, and best of all, a sound recordist who understands the requirements for his huge beast, and delivers a video of the highest quality, well considered technical balance and the richest clarity and definition. I thank you most sincerely for this great pleasure. Other organ video producers, take note.
I'll tell you exactly what happens at those weddings Jonathan mentioned. Chummy looks at the music and turns a 'whiter shade of pale', then gets hold of an easy arrangement of the 'Big Tune', and after a C Major blast on 'full organ', plays the theme as many times as necessary to allow the bride and groom to walk out of the church What a fabulous recital, Jonathan. Thank you and Tom so very much.
You and Tom do an outstanding and.wonderful job of making these concerts.delightful.i have another idea about the crocked spire the builders might have been showing off the spire took an ambitious amount of engineering and work to accomplish
I must say, I was really impressed by the Fantasy-Toccata, and very moved by the Dvorak transcription. Thanks, Scott for playing this recital for us, and Tom for your superb videography.
Votre interprétation du largo (from Symphony No. 9 in E Minor Op. 95 'From the New World') est magnifique ! Vous avez aussi un orgue à la sonorité vraiment belle. Merci des bons moments que vous nous offrez.
Thank you so much, Jonathan and Tom! Grew up in Higham, often went to Chesterfield. I miss Derbyshire so much. . . Making my own "Desert Island Discs" selection, the Saint Saens is my top favourite! Have the Michael Murray CD, the floor shakes in the finale! And I love your elegant outfit! ❤️🎹🎼🎹🎼🎹🎼🎹❤️
Wonderful, as always. The Handel "Hornpipe" has a special place in my heart, as it was the piece we chose for the recessional at our wedding. The Dvořák "Largo" has, fortunately, never, in my mind, been associated with a bread advertisement, but is widely known in the States as the spiritual "In the Fold." The Saint-Saëns was definitely a tour de force. That poor organist, indeed!
The Dvorák piece was the theme to a very well known advertisement years ago in the UK promoting a brand of bread we have called Hovis, just to explain that in case you were thinking it a tad random 👍
@@rondon9897 Thanks, but I figured it was a UK-specific thing. The advert here in the States that had me shaking my head was from about 40 years ago. It was for some baby product and it was a very sweet, calm orchestral piece. I remember thinking, "You do realize this is from Chopin's Funeral March, don't you?"
The bread ad was lost on me, too, because I never watch television. Goodness knows how Jonathan finds the time to do so with all the arrangements, transcriptions and compositions he works on!
Another great concert, thankyou. First time I have heard your Fantasy Toccato 👍 Beautiful Derbyshire/Chesterfield; I hope the local Well Dressings can resume next year.
Another excellent concert Jonathon, loved the Fantasy Toccata, and the Organ. Orchestral sounds on Symphony Number 3 were superb, great to hear the whole piece performed on the Chesterfield instrument, so suited to it. Thank you both!
What Jonathan didn’t say is that he has transcribed the complete Saint-Saëns Organ Symphony! It was such a privilege to be present at its première at the Victoria Hall, Hanley, in April last year. A performance I will always remember.
What a beautiful organ that organ sure has a great sound I love good organ music
Amazing! Wonderful performance and video that are impossible to watch or listen to just once! Thank you both for everything!
Amo esta música. ❤🥰😍 Muito obrigada, Jonathan. Você é Handel são espetaculares.
No end , what to say , glorious , marvellous , god bless you
Jonathan....there is no doubt what-so-ever, you are one of the best in the world....if not THE BEST!! Everything you do is brilliant!!!
Brilliant...as ever😀😀
I just don't know how you do it👍!!!
But thanks, to both of you
Ok 11th time I've watched this video so ❤ it. Beautiful organ
Excellent! Divine! Amazing! Bravo, Maestro! Standing ovation from Russia!
What a magnificent instrument, and obviously performance
Jonathan Scott's mastery and virtuosity are awesome.
A warm & huge BRAVISSIMO!!
A truly amazing concert Jonathan. I loved your Fantasy Toccata and the Saint Saens sent shivers down my spine. It was magnificent. How I would love to hear these at a venue. Largo, beautiful.
Flawless and superb from beginning to end, as always.
Many thanks to you both for this wonderful recital. 👍❤️
I am glad he played the Saint-Saens. That piece is a staple... one of the best ever composed.
Saint-Saens, wonderful. A favourite organ piece.
I love your concerts, always the best selection to play for each organ!
Thanks a lot for the good music!!!
Wonderful music and an absolutely brilliant performance. Thank you so much.
I've rung the bells there. Only musical instrument I can play! 😂
It always amazes me how well the sound of these organs are captured in your videos!!! I'm not a sound engineer but I have a good system to listen to music such as this and the sound quality is quite astonishing IMHO. Well done on that front!!

Thanks for sharing your unique gifts!!
The Dvorak was beautiful, thanks for the story behind it.
This was a super concert. Thank you very much! Your own work Fantacy - Toccata is a fantastic piece of music. 👏👏👏
Thanks, Jonathan, for that wonderful performance - brilliant as usual - and to your brother for his work behind the scenes, to create a most enjoyable experience, second only to being there in person.

Another excellent concert.
Thank you Jonathan and Tom !
Absolutely incredible performance, with wonderful videography to complement it perfectly. 💜
Such wonderful transciptions every time.
I would love to see Mr. Scott give a tour of this magnificent instrument, like he did with the organ of the Royal Albert Hall and MUPA.
Of course, I love the Dvorak! One of my favorite movements from his 9th, along with a great selection of pieces to go with it!
Another brilliant concert, a fantastic selection of music and fabulously played on such magnificent organ! I really enjoyed it.
Hi my favoriteorganist!
Thank you for a absolutely brilliant and fantastic concert!
Take care of you! Peter in Sweden! 🤗👏👏👏👍👍💖
Maravilloso concierto, gracias Janathan, gracias Tom. (Juventino Flores, Córdoba, Veracruz, MÉXICO,)

Brilliant as ever! As a child, my family would several times a year go past "The Crooked Spire" on our way to our Grandparents house in Chorlton-Cum-Hardy, Manchester. It was nice to finally see inside the church!
Really appreciate your "program notes" commentaries and brilliant arrangements. Thanks for another enjoyable program!
Just sublime!
Listening to this wonderful rendering has such a relaxing but thoughtful atmosphere. Cares subside for the duration.
Thank you so much for sharing your time and considerable talents, both of you. It has been a wonderful concert and good to hear that organ once again.
The concert was wonderful! Thanks so much. Just love all these songs!!
Awwwwsommmme!
This is going to be a spectacular concert - Jonathan at his best. He is after all the greatest organist of our time.

Thank you for this wonderful concert. It really is something to look foreward to and has really helped during lockdown.

Was working in Chesterfield today. Would have been a fantastic concert live. But still brilliant to watch on TH-cam
Love the large radiator to keep the organist / umm the microphone warm...

Beautiful. Thank you.
Obrigado Sr Jonathan por este concerto é sempre um prazer ver e ouvi-lo tocar
Fabulous, as always.
Absolutely fantastic! Although I would have preferred to have been able to hear that organ in its original home!!
Just brilliant
That was magnificent. Bravo! Thank you 👏👏👏👏
Interprétation de très haute volée !! Maîtrise autant de l'interprétation que de la registration
