True story: My mother was married three times. Her third husband (my stepdad) was her soulmate. They set an amazing example of what a good marriage should look like. She was happy with him, and he with her, til the day she died.

3, people have this marriage and virginity thing confused, as if they separate, as soon as they lose they V, they marry whoever they lost it to. 4. Marriage nowadays is but a piece of paper to get your taxes in order, in days past marriage was true and between two virgins that exchanged virginities.

1) Like/dislike is a matter of opinion. The opinion of Steve's three wives is (or was) that he would make a good husband. Yours is clearly otherwise.
Also, I appreciate honesty. Not enough people are comfortable speaking their minds; they prefer to go with what's "socially acceptable" (lol). So saying what you believe to be true is absolutely not an issue with me!
2) No, my mother was not settling. She left my dad for a man who made her happy. (My dad and stepdad were both active in raising us kids. Traditionalist Dad just wasn't a good fit for free-spirited Mom.) I wish I had more than the words of some internet stranger to prove that, but I don't, so please just take my word for it.
3) Of all my parents and siblings, I'm the only one not divorced, and that's because I was lucky enough to get it right the first time. (There were a couple close calls though!) I don't condemn my family for leaving their First to be with someone who makes them happy, so clearly the virginity thing isn't an issue.
4) I disagree with this one. Being WED is the legal part for taxes, inheritance, and a number of other official reasons. Being MARRIED is the actual relationship part, and may be accompanied by any number of statuses: dating, engaged, hand-fasted, wed, separated, even divorced. In other words, marriage is the emotional commitment, while wedding is the legal binding.
Hopefully we understand each other better now. And thank you for the insights! I really do enjoy a well-reasoned argument.

Also, Family Feud always taped multiple shows a day. (If you go back and watch, some families that were on multiple times (until they lost) had on the same clothes because multiple shows were taped that day. One family might have played 3 different families until they lost and they had on the same clothes if they started taping that morning. If a family was the last to tape that day and they won, the next day they may have on different clothes (because they had a chance to go back to their hotel that night then come tape the next morning). . OF COURSE, either way, Steve changed his suites for every taping; if they taped 5 shows that day, Steve wore 5 different suits that day!!!
