Design trends come and go and if you ride the roller coaster you will have to update your home many times and it will cost you time and money. Believe me, I watched my parents update their home several times to stay on trend. Now their home is a reflection of their style and fun personalities. Sure it could use a refresh but living in a home that matches their personality is so much better than living in a home that does not feel like them.
