Hey Meera di, One thing my mom always aimed for in her parenting was to be our friend and not our mother. She let us confide in her for everything without judging or giving any feedback. Later she would alwayd give her opinion and leave it so slowly we learnt how to make our choices too. As for freedom and safety, with time you have to allow your kids basis what you see in them. If you feel they can take the responsibility please allow them to and always let them come back to you for their safety harbour. Ofcourse parenting has no rulebook and I’m sure you’re a fab mom to your kids💕
